Question: Can players receiving NIL share that and basically put other players on their payroll? If so, this creates serious issues.

I know no one here likes TideFans, but I hop over there to read Jess N's info occasionally. He has a post that basically confirms Tw1st3d and Boz. Takes the cluster back to last year. Sounds like it's going to take some time (hopefully only this year) to work some of this out.
The TNT is probably a neutral tactic to instill some discipline.

Formby will be fine. Got much needed game experience. Remember how bad Proctor was last year at the start of the season…

Sexton hasn't had time to get his coaches a pay raise yet. It'll be a day or two.

I haven't been on here much lately. So sorry to hear about Surge. He contributed a lot to this board and will definitely be missed.
Prayers for his family.

Bo -
What is behind it? I know all don't have the same reason, but obviously playing time with some. Off season should give some time to prove themselves. Position coach interaction? I want my trophy now? I'm better than him no matter what the film says?
I assume some of these (Billingsly) will be addition by subtraction - negative attitudes.

re: Feelings about the short-term future of the program after National Title/Playoff Losses

The next 2-3 years should have plenty of talent available based on recent recruiting. The big question is development. There are several factors creating concern for me. Coaching and coaching changes have impacted the development of the OL and the depth in several areas. I strongly feel that games with big leads should be used to develop depth across the board, and feel like many of these opportunities are wasted. Ending a game that is out of reach with run after run that the other team knows is coming, isn’t developing anyone. Granted, we don’t want to risk momentum, but how are you going to trust your depth when really needed without getting them experience. The coaching turnover has an obvious impact and I don’t think some of the current coaches are really committed/hungry/intense enough to provide the desired impact to college kids that in many cases still have to learn how to work hard the correct way. The next big concern is the combination of NIL and the transfer portal. We could possibly see players developed and the critical developed depth transfer out to teams for immediate playing time, and NIL provides extra incentive to entice players to move.
Don’t get me wrong, I don’t think there is a big drop off in the next few years, it’s really just a matter of getting the team to be the best they can be. Fortunately, Saban is a master of drilling the message of the process and creating value into everyone’s head.

BOB interviewing w Jags

BOB to interview with Jags per NFL.com
Hopefully won't be a distraction since the interview is after the game.

YouTube TV is discounting their price until the Disney negotiations are done. I got an email from them recommending the Disney package and describing the discount. Why not stay?

Send several COVID infected Coeds to Athens to cuddle with their defense! They must go today though! LOL
re: Slade Bolden
Posted by BamaReb on 11/27/21 at 8:11 pm
Not sure I understand the hate Slade gets on here. Jamison regularly drops wide open passes and gets no grief. Metchie drops passes and gets nada. Slade’s out there doing what the coaches ask him to do. Fielding punts is not an easy task. We really don’t have a clutch receiver that doesn’t have the occasional drop this year.

He did great tonight, but can we hire Derrick Mason?

I don’t think I have ever seen an Alabama team this bad with “good” players. The Mikes didn’t really have good players like this.

re: Alabama OL narrative

There is a lot of OL standing around watching at the end of plays versus playing until the whistle.
Is Bryce's height impacting his ability on the quick throws? With that many on the line, there is basically a wall in front of him. IDK, but it probably impacts the slants and quick throws over the middle when he can't track the LBs.
Could be completely wrong, but just a thought.
