Makes me wonder as well since Bessent was rumored as top 3 on the board. They pretty much have Chris Williams if they want him at Safety.

I'd guess Stephen has more of an offer than Jermaine because Stephen earned one at Junior Day. JR's is probably more contingent on Fournette, I can't see them taking him unless they feel great on Fournette. He's a good player, but finishing pieces like nickelback types shouldn't be pressed for this early.

I would think we would take all four. We dont have that many CBs. Out of last years class the only guy that we know for sure will be a CB is M. Smith. I would say J. Cook but did he make the grades? I think they are all quality players as well. I think all would be better or just as good as anyone we signed last year besides Roberts from LA.

I'm thinking 3 each at CB and Safety assuming everyone from last year qualifies

I just think if you are marginalizing Jermaine Roberts to a subpackage position this early, he's not a huge priority on his own. You can go recruit a more typical CB to Saban's liking and have him play nickel along with outside. Stephen Roberts for example is being recruited by schools not only for CB, but nickel and even safety. He serves a higher value on his own, especially running a press man system.

Hey man, I've been busy.

We offered another WR today. JUCO wideout D'haquille Williams

He was ranked as the #128 player overall in the class of 2011, but didn't sign with anyone. He's from Louisiana and odds are heavy that he signs with LSU.

This is the only video I could find with JUCO highlights for him. It's a news story about him with plays sprinkled in.

I agree with you thats why I said besides Roberts as in J. Roberts. I would like to add S. Roberts and Humphry and only the other Roberts if getting him gets Fournette

Jermaine Roberts after his visit "Alabama is No. 1 on my list," Roberts said. "I really like everything about them. I don't know where to start. I'll say the biggest thing that stood out about them was just how big the players are there."

I actually really like Jermaine Roberts. He may be shorter than what we normally recruit, but Javier Arenas did okay for us as a shorter corner.

He is a corner, we have 4 corners coming, EVERY one of them weighs under 175 lbs except maybe Jackson, he is almost 180..........none of them project as safeties at this time. Averett, Jackson, Smith and Cook are all corners.
