Bessent, who is originally from Jacksonville, grew up with and is friends with 5-star LB Kain Daub. They went to school together up through middle school when Bessent moved to Kingsland and still keep in touch- Bessent describes them as "close friends." I wouldn't go as far to say Bessent's pledge will have a major effect on Daub, but it certainly doesn't hurt from UA's standpoint.

Indianapolis (IN) Pike WR Dominique Booth is the top prospect in the Hoosier State and his father got a chance to talk with the Tide assistant coach Bobby Williams this afternoon about his son.
"Expecting an offer soon," the elder Booth said.
The Booths have a big spring break tripped planned where they'll visit several schools. Alabama is a potential visit at this point.
Tennessee is the current favorite for Booth while Florida State and West Virginia round out his top three.

I haven't been able to find any articles, but looks like Marlon had a pretty solid weekend at the New Balance Indoor Nationals in NYC.
Ran a 7.76 in the finals of the boys 60M good enough for 2nd. Tony Brown qualified for the finals but didn't run. Video of final (Marlon in lane 5)
Also, Marlon pretty much destroyed the field in the boys pentathalon with a point total of 3890 which is good enough for #13 all time nationally in the event. He placed first in the 60m hurdle and long jump potions of the pentathalon: Results. Remember he's only a junior.

According to this T&F article I found, Marlon is a senior and will be playing football at Bama this fall:

Crittenden and Humphrey, both seniors, are considered two of the top high school athletes in the nation. Crittenden is the country’s top sprinter/hurdler, while Humphrey is rated as the top defensive back in the nation and will play football at the University of Alabama in the fall.

Yeah...he needs to do some squats with AJ.
I almost wonder if some guys completely neglect their legs in the gym just so they can fit into skinny jeans.

I'm done. Looking for pics of a 17 year old where his upper and lower body muscles are prominently displayed is just a little too skeezy for me
