Saban said that all of them had the size to play safety if need be so i doubt that all 4 stick at corner. JMO

FWIW, Mo Smith is up to 192 pounds.

I see Mo Smith and Cook as corners all the way. I think Jackson has the ability to play CB or S but obviously we'll put him at CB unless we just have to have another S due to injuries. I could see AA being a smaller, Robbie Green-type safety

Im thinking that either one of those CBs moves to safety or Ardarius Stewart because with Eddie Williams gone we have nobody there for the future besides Landon Collins right now. Maybe we will see someone on offense get a look there I would love to see someone like Drake get the opportunity.

Who knows. shite is always confusing. I read that both Jones would get a shot at defense so that leads me to believe that Saban is high on the WRs we have and the ones coming in.

I think it's Smith and Jackson at CB, Cook and Averitt at Safety.

The thing about both Jones kids getting a look at Corner is what leads me to agree that ArDarius will get a shot at offense 1st. The kid is lethal with the ball in his hands, and I realize most of us feel the same way about Cyrus, but Cyrus pretty much disappeared after that LSU muffed spec teams play.

Also, we didnt have any corners EE this year, so with Fulton still recovering from surgery, we need capable bodies over there now. We can't wait for the freshmen to arrive in the summer.

Anyone remember if Cyrus Jones plated DB in high School? Seems he might need to change positions.

I'm not sure, but I want to say he did. I know he impressed at corner all week in the UA AA game. He also had a pick 6 in the game iirc.

Yep, Cyrus had a pick 6... Collins had a pick... Amari had a TD Reception and a Punt Return for a touchdown.

Alabama Recruits Destroy the UA Game

ETA: Back to 2014 tho... Lorenzo Carter is still scheduled to spend the nite in T-Town and attend practice tomorrow. Also 2014 DE Jalon and 2015 WR Jazz Ferguson from West Feliciana are currently on campus.

Dee Hart is supposedly getting a look a CB like Dee Goode a few years back. Has to due to confidence in his injury as much as is does a stacked RB position(so it's no guarantee he sticks).

'14 AL LB Tre Williams' mother grew up with current Tide Safety Jarrick Williams' mother.

I dont know why were giving Christian Jones a look at defense. Im willing to bet money they wont make that switch. I love our coaches but hate when they do this. fricked BJ Scott up doing that shite.

I haven't seen anyone but fans speculate about Chris Jones at defense. The Cyrus and Dee talk has come from mods.

A lot of analysts projected Chris Jones as a Safety coming out of high school and he was great on KO coverage last year - delivered a couple knock-out hits and forced at least 1 fumble. But I personally don't see him getting a look on defense because he'll have a solid role as a WR.
