Some more interceptions because he's staring at receivers.

Drake Maye needed 2 OTs to beat App State. With a RB running for 230 yds.

Dude, watch the game. Every throw he’s completed has been ill advised, or for a loss. That interception in the first quarter wasn’t a fluke.

Oh lord have mercy. Be patient Ya'll. We might see different version of Milroe in 2nd half.

I just can’t understand why people want to be patient because this guy might get better. I just don’t get it. There is zero indication Milroe is a serviceable QB.

They tried and got turned down by multiple guys. Buchner was the best we could get

Yup….Hartman at Notre Dame most notably.

And I have a feeling Simpson is FAR from ready.

It can't possibly be worse than that first half, and if it is please hire someone to shoot me in the back of the head

OL getting whipped
DL is so ordinary
Milroe is what he is and will be. He needs an I5 processor instead of his I3
This is a throw away game but we better find a QB to play vs Ole Miss since that game will set the tone for the rest of the year.

This 2nd half is going to tell us much about these players as far as their mental tuffness

We'll see

Get Ty in there and run spread concepts when you’re not running the ball. They have not gameplanned for that. On defense, mix in different blitz looks on second and third downs, stick to tight man cover age on first. Boom, game won.

No offensive line can hold a rush for 5-10 seconds every down. Milroe has to find a receiver, get rid of the ball or fvkn take off.
They’re getting there fast and doing it up the middle.

Milroe is not sitting back there for 5 seconds lost af.

He definitely needs to run better, though.

Have you lost your mind? Even Stevie Wonder can see what our problem is and it ain't Tommy Rees.

Just be patient, make this drive count, and play smart.

Why weren’t more aggressive in the portal to get a top flight QB is beyond me.

I imagine we tried with Hartman, Maye, and maybe Pennix (as a package deal with the U of Wash OC), but it's not like any dude we ask will just automatically agree to come play for us.

They are going to try to see if Milroe can make half-time adjustments, because that is how coaches who do not panic and throw poo against the wall do things. After a series or two we may see a change and I imagine it will be Buchner, since he seems to have the coolest head.

Ultimately the problem with a QB being terrible in the intermediate passing game is when you get to the red zone, 80% of the field is an intermediate throw.

The OL is a bigger issue right now, imo.
