The play of Milroe is pretty simple. The first place he looks before the snap tells you what kind of play and where it is going. In this game, after the snap,if his first read is not there he looks at the pass rush instead of his progressions. After he breaks the pocket he does at time look down field but our WR's (for the most part) are not breaking off routes and running toward and open spot in the dirrection the QB is running.

Texas is keying where Milroe looks and playing run or pass based on the read. If pass, they close one the primary read and play softer on the others. Milroe never gets to the others.

Ultimately the problem with a QB being terrible in the intermediate passing game is when you get to the red zone, 80% of the field is an intermediate throw.
No doubt

We can still win this game with Milroe, defense is playing good against a talented Sark offense

What’s been disappointing to me has been Milroe fricking bailing but also the OL is getting smashed in pass protection. Granted Milroe bails quickly, but they’re still getting pushed back

Even his few completed passes have 3 DBs right there.

Pressured on over half his drops.

Milroe can’t operate against that if he isn’t running effectively

I’m tired of not having a fricking tank at RB. Gibbs was great, but I miss a tank. Najee was the last one 3 years ago
