I was worried about the defense after warching the GA's fan critique of Kane's defense from last year. I guess Kane didn't watch it, but Malzahn did.

We won't, but every game is losable and we will be underdogs in half of them.
There is probably some good money to be made betting against us this year until Vegas corrects.

Felt like we abandoned the run way too early. I was fine moving towards more passing but we went all-in instead of making it like 60-40 pass/run.

I think we beat Missouri. But I can honestly see a 4 game losing streak between Tennessee through Oklahoma.

If you are blaming Simpson then you are absolutely crazy.
Simpson had a few bad plays and throws but he was also clutch as well. He just got to use his feet more! Great learning experience for him.
Didn't execute at all...MISSED BLOCK GALORE
The offensive line was terrible mainly (Kayden Proctor)
Ryan Grubb was TRASH...not one ROUTE that allowed people to break it off because of zone defense. No slant and go on the outside either.
A million drops by RECEIVERS (Ryan Williams) (Josh Cuevas)
Where the HECK is Cole Adams?
Wommack struggled a bit as well because of his SOFT ARSE front.
Lawson & Jefferson did not deserve to be on the field. That was the most atrocious performance from LINEBACKERS that I've seen.
Mincey lol... that's all I'm a say. Dre Kirkpatrick Jr should've been back there
Play people that are HUNGRY.
It just seems like we are playing favorites at receiver & the linebacker positions.
Get rid of Freddie Roach to.

Give Russell two warm up games and see what happens . Hate it for Ty , I mean I reallly do, but he just didn’t show anything that makes you think we could win a NC with him

True. We had 43 pass att to FSU’s 14. TS throws for 250 yds and no picks and people are saying to bench. Asking too much of him in his first start if you ask me.

Simpson showed literally nothing today. Definitely not a leader. In my layman opinion with 45+ yrs of watching Bama, the only thing he did better than Milroe was reading the defense. Cant throw the long ball, cant throw on the run, cant throw on broken plays, cant run as well. He disappointed me honestly. I thought he would bring all his experience and impress us. Don’t have much hope now BUT it’s only the first game.
