Lea is the product of Pavia
Definitely possible. Next year will tell.

what staff in the SEC would you swap w/ besides UGA?
Lea is maximizing Vandy’s talent not unlike Smugnetti at IU, I’d argue.

He’s def not proven yet, but Vandy showed up last year with swag all of a sudden and their offense has a short memory. Must be nice…

So jealous of Ga - Kirby embodies every bit of the Saban DNA that Bama so desperately needs.

Call me a Ty glazer, but his issues are mostly symptomatic of deeper offensive issues, imo: OL and OC.

2 exceptions:
1. The mental toughness criticism is fair
2. He’s had obvious mistakes, like tonight’s feet-first slide and costly fumble

His successor will have the same issues if root causes aren’t addressed (OL and OC). He will go to the NFL and have success, I believe.
Mendoza is heading a run-first offense with a team and scheme playing above their abilities. None of that can be said of Bama. Apples and oranges.

You’re straw-manning my posts saying that TS is my “sacred cow”. I said he isn’t the ONLY issue, meaning I agree he’s AN issue, just not the primary one.

Unless next year’s QB has amnesia snap-to-snap and bones of adamantium, I’m ready for him to be crucified like the past 2 guys by this fanbase - in large part for things outside their control.
Your description of Mendoza and implied contrast to Ty was all mixed together, but fair enough: I misread the faith part of it and apologize.

Yes Mack had some exciting throws. He also looked rushed and sloppy at times due to the pass rush - just like Ty.

How can any QB not be “chicken hearted” with an OL this bad if they don’t have Milroe’s wheels? It just pretends that Ty is the only offensive issue.

Yes this game echoed/surpassed FSU in the worst ways, but if it was as uniform and lopsided all year like you say, TS would not be projected as a late 1st rounder like he is - at least before tonight’s game :(

Ty is chicken hearted and not a Christ follower? Have you listened to any of his interviews or seen the lack of protection he’s faced?

We can criticize the kids performance without this kind of ridiculous cognitive dissonance. My lord dude.

Reason why ty never replaced milroe
By this logic, Mack or Keelon will be in Ty’s shoes next year: not good enough to replace the QB1 who “sucks”
2 coaching staffs held onto Ty, yet our QB3 is “especially” the answer? Why isn’t he playing right now?

Fwiw - I agree Keelon is special, but our OL and OC will drag down any QB is my point

Anyone who wants Ty to come back hates Alabama
We said the same thing about Milroe, praying a new QB will fix all the other offensive issues. Yet here we are. When will we learn?
Gotta respect IU’s results, but their style is so corny. Cignetti is a tool and a fake tough guy, Mendoza interviews like a homeschool kid, their TE is #37..

Yes I’m being a sore loser. Whatever.

time to ride with our new qb1
Preach. Love Ty but liking Mack’s moxy.

I get the TS frustration on here, but the name calling is silly. Dude loves Bama and is crushed that it’s over for him - God forbid he cry.

not melting just yet… not quite…
Ok fully melted now. Embarrassing lack of effort. Defensive collapse is surprising - offensive not so much.
Can a ball knower explain why our downfield passing is nonexistent? Pass rush, playcalling, lack of separation?

After the OU win, not melting just yet… not quite…

Ranking our WRs

Posted by BabyBackBamaBoy on 12/20/25 at 9:23 am
We have so much talent at WR and it was fun to see it utilized again after a brutal drought. Last night moved Brooks up the pecking order for me. Is it...

1: Bernard
2: Brooks
3: Horton
4: Williams
5: Hale/Scott/Mbakwe

Is Brooks our most gifted WR right now? Was surprised by drops from Germie and Horton last night, though the throws weren't great.

For all the (justified) Williams frustration, he's probably a solid WR4 when you think about it. We just want him to be WR1 like vs UGA last year. Expectations are a motherfricker :banghead:

spend at least 15 minutes a day with the machine spitting balls at him
Just like he does in the U of A commercial
quote:

Didn't he also come in for a series against OU last yea
He was in for 1 play and missed a RB in the flat as the pocket collapsed on him in 2 seconds. Sorta like this year…
Oh yeah, that USF game when our OL effort was horrible even by our standards?

No change
You’re completely ignoring countless NFL throws Ty has made this season. Yes the kid is struggling right now and our system depends on him being excellent, but he’s not unimproved and def not atrocious.

Maybe we’ll learn our lesson next year if our savior Keelon struggles because of OL and playcalling? Nah, we’ll just say he’s garbage too and clamor for a new savior.

these two atrocious qb's
Do you really think Sayin or Mendoza would fare much better than Milroe and Simpson in our system and behind our OL? Yes Ty has struggled mightily of late, but what QB in America isn’t “atrocious” in his shoes?

Watching Ty struggle this year, I realize I was probably too hard on Milroe last year. Ty is a better QB, but they were both hampered by OC and OL significantly.
Respect his game, but Mendoza is a total cornball lol. Breaking the fourth wall postgame made me squirm.
Lots of Ty hate on here tonight, but he’d cook at OSU. Would be healthier too and not seeing ghosts.
