That's fantastic.

Pretty sure they clipped Scharnowski's pic from the team photo and shopped it in.

Edit to say that mocking Aubie's hokie, "Call God" thing is perfect.

Did Naas not travel? Or he’s cropped out of the photo? I saw him at the Florida game so just curious.

Rewatching the game. Broome is such a toolbag. He begged for the taunting tech on Nelson, but he was constantly taunting the entire game. 1 example, when Cliff picked up his fourth foul, Broome pointed at the bench and told him to go sit down. In that case he was gesturing straight at an opponent, unlike Grant who was looking at his teammates(still probably should have been taunting, lol).

Dude gives it constantly, but cant take it.

Also noticed that Youngblood did NOT step on CBM like everyone thought he did, his foot landed on the floor and then catches his arm while picking the foot up. But I do not believe there was flesh under his foot looking at it closely.

AU also keep bringing up that Youngblood hit CBM with an elbow in the same sequence where CBM hit him, but Chris was spinning after being hit, that was not intentional at all.

Lastly, frick Pearl. CBM is 25 yrs old, he can take responsibility for his actions. Trying to say it was only reactionary is absolute bullshite. CBM spent the whole game trying to flop and get a foul call, then thought he could get away with a cheap shot. At least some of the Barn fans actually recognize him for what he is. If he can change, I'll be happy for him. His life would be better for it. But he's a 25 yr old child at the moment.

Their whole team does hand signals after every play. When they get a defensive stop they all draw a box and hit the "thumbs down" inside of it, which is definitely a taunt, just like the "too small" gesture is.

But one opposing player does a celebratory gesture after a dunk and they all cry like he elbowed someone in the back of the head.

Just an incredibly unlikeable group, a reflection of Pearl really. Super emotional, always talking when things go their way and crying when things don't.

Broome is a wizard at pushing the shite talk and taunting to the very limit without going over. Credit to him I guess. Quinerly was pretty adept at it but lost his cool every now and then

Make no mistake. Auburn fans are not against anything he does. The only reason Auburn fans are currently tired of it is because he just costed them a game

i honestly blame Pearl for the crap that his players are doing. They all learn from the coach. Notice after everytime AU beats us they do the Crimson Crane including Pearl. So forgive me if I don't feel sorry for them when we celebrate in their house. BTW is John Metchie the ultimate troll for the entire AU students/players/administration? The Crane pose did a number on those people and for whatever reason the ones that it hurt the most is the basketball team.

Did anyone catch that he told Terry Oglesby "that's ours! that's our celebration!" when he was trying to get the taunting call on Grant?

Dude will say literally anything to get an advantage mid game.

It’s not that it didn’t affect the football players, it’s that they haven’t been able to do anything about it since then. They’ve had to respond vicariously through their bball team.

But yeah, it’s bizarre how that fanbase will collectively cry about Nelson’s crimson crane or Mark Sears throwing his head back on contact during a drive, but has no issue with their players constantly chirping and making hand signals, falling down on every 3PA, and faking injuries when they go through rough stretches in games.

Little bro gonna little bro, I guess.

Auburn hasn't beaten Alabama in football 1,927 days. Their football team could never do anything about it, so it's up to the basketball team. None of the players on the basketball team were on campus last time AU beat Alabama in football. It's something AU is obsessed over, not Alabama. It's kind of funny.

Yeah Pearl is a stupid son of a bitch. I did see him say “that’s ours”.

You mean the celebration our football player of Asian descent started years ago? Not only is it not yours, it’s not even your sport. He might be the coach I hate most across all sports.

I hope beyond hope that we go into JHS and rip their hearts out again. Freeze and company have been preparing for this year for a while. They’re adding another ridiculously large jumbo tron to the north end zone. They have a psychotic obsession with Alabama athletics.

We don’t have very many walk off buzzer beaters for wins. Off the top of my head the last 6 I can remember Sears @Auburn Sexton vs A&M Trevor Lacey in the 1st game of the season vs South Dakota St Anthony Brock @Tennessee Steele vs Georgia Pettway vs Florida

Elliot Washington's corner 3 to beat Arkansas in the SEC Tournament in 92. He hit that 3 with about 2 seconds left on the clock.

In my memory the Sexton buzzer beater was the most important. The Pettway one was a memorable one too. The Sexton shot was a higher degree of difficulty than Pettway's or Sears' in that he had 5 seconds to go the length of the court. Like Pettway it changed the score. Unlike Pettway's it made a difference in the season because we don't make the NCAA tournament if he doesn't make that shot. The Pettway and Sears shots didn't mean as much.

Either Hodgeson is dancing or Troy will be the first team from AL to make it (North Alabama was pretty close to an upset for their league yesterday). Tipoff in 15 min
