The last 50 years don't mean anything. Georgia is building a powerhouse for years to come. Bama got damn lucky to beat Georgia in 12, 17 and 18.

thats not really the way i remember it. in '12, uga was never in the game. '17, spotted them 13, dominated the second, except one play. '18, tua was picking that defense apart until he dang near broke an ankle. yes it was back n forth. until bama started dominating in the 4th qtr.

I didn't realize how many Georgia fans were trolling this board. They're all over the place. The moderators need to clean this place up.

Something has triggered these Georgia douchebags today. They're really strutting like they've actually done something worth while.

(a) None of them were lucky, that's silly

(b) 2012 Georgia was never in the game? Were you drunk the whole game? Georgia was winning 21-10 with 6 minutes left in the 3rd quarter after Ogletree ran the blocked kick back. I'm not sure how a team that leads by 11 late in the 3rd in never in the game. On top of that, they led the game with 3:30 minutes left, and then had the ball on our 10 with a shot to win the game at the end.

How does Florida Freaking International have a good kicker and, well , Bama has what's it always had??
Guy just boomed back to back 48 and 52 yard kicks in the Montgomery Bowl, in the rain, that would have been good from 10 more yards each.

So depending on how long Petersen takes off we would definitely give him a call post-Saban right?

Literally D2 and D3 schools have better kickers than we do.

Your best bet is just to stop thinking about it. There is no logic out there to explain it.

I honestly just don't think he is a fit at a big football program in the SEC/Texas/Ohio State. I could see him coming back, but not at Alabama/Florida/Ohio State/etc.

He probably has a cat and couple of puppies. He is not the coach going forward to lead our program.

There’s definitely an under appreciated difficulty in being on top and always getting the other team’s best shot. Why I think Mike Leach for instance can only thrive at a WSU or Texas Tech. But other than Dabo there really isn’t a realistic candidate that is proven in that capacity

I'm anxious to see how Roydell does when he gets to Tuscaloosa. He's not that flashy but he's more than just a solid back. Hueytown worked him this season.
