Never said Bama was squeaky clean, apparently they don't have the deep pockets that Georgia does.

I know some former players that played for Saban. I know the type of payments they get.

Backpacks with certain items in them appearing in players lockers. That is normal, most SEC teams are doing that. Georgia is going way beyond that. LSU is starting to do that too.

This is the truth. Every one plays dirty, there are now two who are flexing their relative wealth to take it a step beyond.

Was it our new RB coach that told Evans that he wasn't mature enough to play at Bama? If so, give that man a raise for being a good judge of character

Odds are it was Charles Huff. I have been really impressed with him.

Don’t like to talk bad about kids/teenagers but man! It’s like he takes one step forward and two steps back. I really hope he understands the opportunity he has in front of him.

27 total with 22 already signed, so 5 spots left.

Btw, that info is always available and up-to-date in this thread's 3rd post, including explanations of ways Bama could take recruits that wouldn't count against 2020's spots.

ETA: At this point it appears that OT Damieon George has signed but not yet announced, with additional signees most likely being WR Baker, DT Burroughs and TE Frazier -- 25 total. Right now it doesn't appear likely that we'll land WR Henderson, DT Jackson or DE Collins, but that could change, and other targets could emerge. It wouldn't surprise me if Bama only signs 25 and saves the unused spots that could be used later on for transfers or 2021 early enrollees.

Cant believe we let JJ go smh. Man we always do this shite when we have our nose up other players arse. 100% it will end up us having enough room for both.

I'm not going to get pissy about chasing an elite talent at TE over signing a good but normal tight end.

There are a handful of "different" athlete tight ends. They are a million JJs.

The last thing Zach Evans needs is to go to college right now. Something is amiss with that child. He likely needs medical attention.

Key word = secretly. Tim & Hank won't directly leak news that will spoil a kid's announcement ceremony (nor will I), but they will sometimes place CB picks if they hadn't aready -- like they did with Washington today.

Wouldn’t the fact that he is already committed to Bama kind of give it away more than puttin up a scheduled announcement?

No worries, I know getting an All star game commit is a long shot.

Pull up your panties....UGA has the same number of NC's in these past 50 years as BYU and GT. Let them celebrate a recruiting win over Alabama. That should go down well with having lost to Bama 5 times in a row then again any win is big.

Exactly. Compare the two program's trophy cases. For all the talent that UGAy has attracted over the years they have very little to show for it. Much like Texas.

I agree it's obvious and kinda silly. But imo all of the suspense and surprise games that some kids wanna play seem silly.

Occasionally I ask and the answer is given in strict confidence. So... I've only hinted.

Jase McClellan rushed for 220 yards and 2 TDs in his state championship game victory today.

Zach Evans, well, you know the story.

And did I see that was all on a possible tweaked ankle?

Yep.

Left the field in the 1st quarter with an ankle injury.

Came back and dominated.

You mean he didn't grab his cell phone and quit on the team when he got dinged up? More running backs in Texas need to learn how to deal with adversity like this
