Once upon a time you had to be transcendent, the best of the best and more importantly a dominant figure in the game that teams had to scheme for. Barry Sanders, Joe Montana, Lynn Swann, John Elway. Guys that could change the outcome of games. Now i see the likes of Tony Boselli, Bryant Young, John Lynch going in. Solid players, sure. Game changers, absolutely not.

He’s 100% right, but the Hall of Fame (all of them) are businesses, too. They’ve got tickets to sell, seats to fill, and a TV show to produce. If the don’t induct a bunch of folks that appeal to a bunches of fans, the Hall won’t survive. Transcendent talent be damned!

Nah, dude beat the Goat twice, otherwise Brady would have 9 rings. Eli’s 2 rings are greater than Peyton’s tbh. Peyton beat Rex Grossman one year and got carried by his defense when he couldn’t throw the ball further than 15 yards in his last season.

It would be commendable if athletes would just tell the HOFs if they don't get voted in the first go around, to remove them from the future list of consideration. Otherwise it gets like this cause people are still waiting to get in after being rejected 10 or so times. It's stupid. I'm sure HOFs attendances are super low too. I know Cooperstown was once on my travel bucket list, but that was removed a few yrs back.
