Followed by an immediate power walk off the floor in crunch time of the play in's and the lack of will power or chest to play in round 1 after his teammates clinched a playoff berth.
After 7 years the best 2 seasons we have of Zion are
Year 2. Bricks layup, Breaks thumb and misses last 10-12 games, causing us to miss the playoffs
The year you are referring to where another injury of his got us swept out of the 1st round
Bonus year- we were number 1 in the West. He pulls a hammy. He almost is ready to come back. Pulls hammy again.
What a run. I don't think he's a top 125 player in the league at an average of 35 games a year, 25 of which he looks and plays like an explosive tellytubby.
All that to say, this is D Queen and J Fears team now. I don't even want Zion to be around them long enough to corrupt them.

Yeah Portnoy was solid in this. No gripe at all. He was hilarious and he stirred shite up. I liked his role in this. He was like a drunken gamemaster in the Hunger Games.
re: Why didn’t we keep Jameis Winston as our QB?

He kind of wasn't very good after he got injured. He either physically or mentally wasn't over his injury and it led to some bad performances that led many to believe that he was done.

DOD King also did a 28 min interview with another YouTube channel a couple days ago and he comes across as incredibly humble and self aware. Everything he does is an act for YouTube. He's just playing a part and he's doing it well. Good guy that plays douchey villain among a bunch of other creators that are Saints/pretend to be Saints.

Only low character players do that. We will need to clean house more than we think if that is how the majority of our roster operates.

So Zion and Poole are both pretending to be injured and Trey and Herb are both destroying their reputations and playing like arse on purpose bc of Willie Green? That's a rundown of what you have claimed the past week or so.
Maybe all 4 of these doofuses just suck, plus WG sucks.
Let's get rid of all of them. High character, Winning players don't go 2-9 on purpose bc they simply dislike a coach. I think they all just suck at basketball personally. Zion sucks, plus he has shitty character. That's the only exception.
Tear this whole thing to the ground. Y'all are acting like Boreggo is Prime Phil Jackson and all of these pussies are going to start hooping just because Boreggo moves one seat over on the bench.

I think I've watched like 11 games over the past 2 years combined, if even that
Until they get rid of Zion and Green, I'm not buying a special TV package to watch this sorry arse team. I'll catch the 15 min highlights that the NBA puts out on YouTube. Easy way to keep up with our young guys and not have any emotions invested into the game.

Baron Davis, CP3, Anthony Davis, Zion
1 of these is not like the others and people have every right to be more mad than usual

Zion only makes us more competitive when we see the better versions of him.
But we only get that, what 10-15% of the time out of the games he plays? He's a complete liability at times due to conditioning and his effort. That's another reason why he's so hard to build around. You want your best players to be consistent effort wise, attitude wise, etc. Even if he doesn't want to be a leader, he is. Guys look up to Zion and if he doesn't set the tone, it's easy not to follow suit.
It's why you see teams like Indy perform above their talent level. Part of it is coaching, but part of it is their franchise player is so selfless, so humble, but also plays with consistent effort, joy, etc. You can see how much the Pacers miss Hali this year. On the other hand, it's hard to tell if we miss Zion in the games he doesn't play this year. We've picked up our only 2 wins without him and generally our energy and effort is a lot more consistent.

It's amazing that some people still think that Zion is a top 50 player in the league considering it's always a mystery of who he would fit with and who he wouldn't. People used to make the argument that it would be similar to building around Giannis, but Giannis is a half foot taller, 10 inches longer, healthier, all out hustle beast with high character.
Truly great players fit with almost everyone. Zion on the contrary, basically fits with almost no one. Trey Murphy would be the closest player he fits with, but both are such dogshit defensively, they don't really fit on defense together. Therefore they ultimately don't fit as winning pieces together.
We need to start asking ourselves who fits with Fears and Queen and try to trade Zion for players that would do that (even if their perceived player tier is lower than Zion's).
Let's pretend that Fears and Queen are a new age CP3 and D West type duo and figure out what the best way is to build out a winner around them. Is Trey new age Peja? Does Herb fit in with these 2? Can he shoot well enough to be a defensive Mo Pete? Can Missi develop and play a little bit of Tyson Chandler's role or is all we can hope for is the Birdman role? Is Jose Alvarado new age Jannero Pargo? Can Micah Peavy be the next Bonzi Wells?

This is a fair assessment
Look, he's not my favorite, but occasionally I enjoy him and he's actually shown some versatility on other channels and been a very laid back and chill dude. He's a solid golfer as well. His only real weakness is his insistence not to use tees lol. (Which is his brand)

I think it's very possible that we can both win this trade and lose this trade at the same time. Even if Queen hits. The NBA is about maximizing assets. Unfortunately, Griffin consistently pissed them down the drain in a pussy arse slow bleed way and Dumars came in pissed them down the drain a more aggressive way. A small market team generally needs more bites at the apple, not less, to become a championship level contender over time.

It's 100% an act. He's a good dude overall. He's entertaining and harmless. People that have an issue with him are either soft or autistic, bc it's clearly an act. His brand is a no tee douche and he plays it very well, while managing to largely be a good sport to his playing competitors. If he acted like boring arse George Bryan, he'd have no following because A) he's not as good as George and B) he doesn't have a PGA Tour winner brother with a personality to help prop him up. He's got to be edgy to maintain his spot in the space. Not everyone can act like Grant Horvat or George Bryan.

This isn't even a conversation, it's Peyton Manning.
Eli and Patrick would be a better conversation. And Eli still has the edge there.

You are right about Poole in general, but the only reason why those 30 points didn't result in a win is that it took Zion 3 and a half quarters to show up to the arena. He sucked for 85% of the night on both sides of the court. So essentially, we were down for no reason. Then Zion predictably got outdueled by Kawhi Leonard at the end.
