I don’t think it is at all helpful to decree a certain player is the best on the roster at the beginning of the season, so no more special significance to #7.
If a person “deserves” #18, just name him captain, and be done with it.

It didn’t work, but I don’t see much of a downside. As a matter of fact, it gives your opponents another thing to clog his mind, because they don’t know what the hell we might do….qb sneak, direct snap, hard count, or hit the Hawaiian for a 56 yd td.

That was not really the point I was getting at. If these dims, such as C on Z, truly feel that voter fraud is so rare and inconsequential, with no real chance of swinging an election, why do they continue to engage in voter fraud? Why risk going to jail for a serious crime with no tangible upside? The fact is, and they know this, these arrests of individuals and small groups are just the tip of the iceberg, and their efforts can swing an election. There are many more of the fraudsters out there that we aren’t catching. And don’t fall for their false implication that one arrest = one fraudulent vote.
