Oxford has ridiculous prices during games. I just had a relative graduate from there. You will have to go and stay a little ways away in whichever direction for decent rates

Yeah is spending money on a new library smart when everything is online and digital nowadays?

I know he said 7-8 but I would prefer if you had a solid 9 so you have the depth needed in case you have a couple injuries or run into foul trouble etc. A couple of these guys had their season cut short last year due to injury.

I like it. he was probably gonna come off the bench for them this year but any Mich State Izzo coached guys that we can get, I will gladly take.

He appears to be aggressive and physical in his style. Can shoot and has some offensive abilities for sure. As a defender it seems he is aggressive and physical there when going after blocks and rebounds and often jumps into the offensive player too much fouling with the body. Don't know enough about him to know if this needs to be corrected so he doesn't foul out every game or is he that aggressive in his current games because he knows he will only be out there 10-15 minutes a game anyways so he can just go all out during that time not worrying about fouls? similar to a relief pitcher that doesn't have to save something in the tank for a long outing. We will see, glad to have him.

Is our third base coach like a little league dad that won a raffle or something? He sends folks home like that is his experience level.
re: What’s the realistic chance of beating Georgia this weekend for one game or the series
Posted by Portcityblues on 5/4/26 at 9:40 am to mdomingue
play well and and limit free passes. Timely hitting by us with runners on. Anything can happen. We can beat anyone. Wouldn't surprise me at all to win the series. look at GA schedule. 10 or more of their conference wins are against bottom half of the league including 6 against Mizzou and SC

Just keep doing more of the same. Get quality 5-6 innings from starters and turn it over to bullpen with the lead and then situational hitting.

There were nothing but recipes in it
re: Only 6 more to go to make the tournament
Posted by Portcityblues on 5/3/26 at 7:06 pm to Honkus
Not saying it will happen but I’m interested to see how next weekend turns out. Georgia is good but 1/3 of their conference wins are against bottom two teams. 10 of 18 against teams in bottom half of league.

Unless I missed something all we need to know is Mo right now. If he hits on the Euro guys our commentators will have to come up with nicknames or just initials

re: What Needs to Happen for LSU to Make a Regional?

If the 50 teams ahead of us can't make it to the regional and decline the offer due to covid or something then we would slide right into their slot. simple as that.

that's baseball. take an extended break from live at bats and its a struggle to get back in the groove. give him regular reps and by the Florida series he will be at least back to being able to consistently pop up to the infield on the edge of the outfield grass with an occasional walk here and there.

maybe he just likes Mike the Tiger
re: BeBe Orgeron at the baseball game; back for his first LSU event since he was fired I think

why is he allowed on the field. he is a fired former employee.

looks athletic, but, honest question. If he is the best player in that professional league at 22 yr old then why is he only averaging 7 pts a game? I don't really know anything about the Euro league.
