Not saying that this is the case but when someone comes in and shakes things up and holds people to a high standard than the previous leader. Those under him are typically not to happy. They either adjust to the new standard or they find their way out the door.

^This. They have been living in the life of complacency and comfort with papa mack brown there. I can tell you first hand.

What did UNC think was going to happen when they hired an over-the-hill, washed up 73-year-old former NFL coach that has a 24-year-old gold-digging piece of arse running the show?

He's not washed up as a coach, he's washed up as a GM.

Not sure he's not washed as a coach

But he’s dating an instawhooer, that counts for a lot these days.

This is what happens when you go from a "soft" coach to a hard arse. They have to adapt or die.

When he gets Tom Brady enrolled they'll love coach. TB has made him one good coach

Bill had the Browns relevant before Brady. Brady's first three super bowls were because of that nasty defenses and Corey Dillon and Antowan Smith.

How many SB’s did Bill win without Brady? How many SB’s did Brady win without Bill?

Honestly I don't trust any of the media darling who make big buck spewing drama on some show. Proof will be in the pudding. We'll see how good he is at the college game. At this point 80% of sports news is just soap opera BS coming from people who were never athletes.

The media doesn't get fired when NC loses games..this is why people don't trust media anymore.

Tar Heels are soft. Always have been. Bill will toughen them up.

It is kinda like government employees after Trump came in and replaced Biden. They did not like that. Don't let the door hit you in the arse on your way out.

Making changes and challenging the status quo in an attempt to go from good to great. Sounds right to me otherwise its just the insanity of doing the same while hoping for a different result

I don't know but just spitballing here. Maybe you have historically sucked is because there was no discipline and accountability. For whatever reason the teams with that seem to be successful. Where has Boston College and the NY Giants been since Coughlin left. Hell, how have Jaguars been since Coughlin left. I remember Arizona State and all the bitching about him but they were a top 5 program the time he was there. I'm sure its just coincidence.

Saw this coming a mile away. Has his 24 year old "girlfriend" cough cough, granddaughter parading around the field like she's in charge. Who does that? Who puts their gf/wife (really granddaughter) on the field as an "audio specialist"? This will definitely end very, very badly. They will have to pay him out $100 million if his contract is 10 years. Not sure how long it is.

I remember when people at LSU celebrated Saban leaving because he was too demanding.
