Please. No 5'-10 QB's. I don't care how talented if they can't see over SEC linemen.
Bryce Young is one of the best QBs in SEC history. One of the most prolific passers in SEC history. He's also 5'10.

We wanted Demond Williams to come here from Washington. He's 5'10 as well.

Kyler Murray is 5'10

Diego Pavia is just barely 5'10 (70.6%) 3540 pass yards 9.4 ypa 29 TD 8 ints 860 rush yards 5.2 ypc 10 TD in his second year in the SEC

I gave you 2 SEC QBs who led their teams to top seasons (one who won a heisman), a QB for a team in the conference that has won 3 straight NCs with 3 different teams, and a QB who won a heisman and also started for 7 years in the NFL.
Lol. That's that Lil Yachty viral entrance.
Im seriously laughing at the downvotes on the first page. That 40 million roster number that has been thrown around most definitely made it completely impossible for fans and the media to be okay with 9-3 this year. LSU went 8-4 and 9-3 without all that money beforehand. The one thing Kelly did that Ed O didn't do is leave Kiffin with a stable program. LSU was a complete fricking mess when Kelly got here. Lane just has to bring an offense to an already talented defense that improved last year. Something he is known to do.

He has zero excuses with all the talent he has brought in. Three deep legitly at QB, depth for days at RB with two of the most talented RBs in the SEC back. Tons of talented receivers with experience too. Possibly the greatest TE in the country with depth there too. An OL that brings back the best lineman last year (center), plus and immediate plug and play multi year starting guard, plus and immediate plug and play multi year starting tackle. Another tackle and guard from this group is not a daunting task at all.

You can't praise him like some king every day on this board just because he's flying out to meet recruits and then expect to lose 3-4 games this year.
This dude left for over 2 mill a year didn't he? Plus he left for California life and to get connected to the biz out there (like commercials and brands and the like)

I doubt he's losing all that to go back home. Dude seemed like he had zero desire to stay in Louisiana. I live in Shreveport and when I was growing up many kids would either graduate high school or graduate from college and immediately go to Texas.

Makes it an even bigger indictment on BK for entrusting JOE SLOAN to maximize all the talented pass catches we had. After Bryce underwood flipped Joe Sloan should’ve been demoted back to qb coach or fired.

Baffling staff hires , lazy recruiting, not having a run game and not having the team prepared for big time matchups will be the things that defined the Brian Kelly era .
I've been telling people for the longest. All these bitchmade LSU fans that talked shite about Hankton. His WRs are cooking at the senior bowl.

The offense was straight trash. It's like people forget what Kyren Lacy and Aaron Anderson looked like in 2024 under a decent offensive scheme.
Disagree. Will he be an NFL starter, I can 100% believe that. Will he be a damn good NFL QB? What do you consider "damn good"? Are we talking Justin Herbert? Baker Mayfield? Jordan Love? Yeah I don't personally see it, but would hope he turns it around.

The reigning MVP who outside of the last game vs Denver has been about as good as it gets in the playoffs is the problem?

How about the defense getting a stop when it matters once or twice.
Yeah, let's not call blame on the guy who turned the ball over 4 times

When is the last time Georgia and Alabama combined for 3 or less of the top 32 recruits?
The shift is starting to happen. They think because they were the last 2 big and bads before the NIL era that they won't and shouldn't spend like the others do. Next year after both fail, we'll see if it ignites a fire with the big spenders or will they continue to slowly descend.

They moved him down to number 10. This is the new list of all 5 stars.
Man Freeman is building a monster at Notre Dame. Crazy that Kelly ultimately caused two different programs to finally up the standards of their games to where they are supposed to be. ND has money. ND has tons of money. They just never spent it on athletics until Kelly embarrassed them nationally. They utilized that money and prestige and Freeman being a young and energetic coach has sparked a return to glory feeling for the bunch.

LSU was embarrassed nationally vs TAMU and LSU said "never again".
Just like the last staff, this staff loves speed and puts a major emphasis on it. The good thing is I believe this staff will be better at utilizing that speed.

I think they just decided something had to change.

Now they have to figure out a way to be in a better position. They need to hire a top DC.

I’m not convinced they will end up in a better place than they were.
The problem is Josh Allen. A lot of people don't want to admit it. He's been in a great situation and just keeps messing up.
Next it'll be his turn to take the blame for Josh Allen always falling in clutch moments and turning the ball over so much.

Good luck.
I downvoted immediately when I saw you put Jayce Brown in the 20s. This was before anybody else commented at all. He's top 2 WR, and top 10 best player LSU got without question.

All but assures he’ll end up at LSU. Frank had a knack for losing the big recruiting battles
yeah like he lost Caden Durham, Harlem Berry, Lamar Brown, Rich Anderson, Deuce Geralds, etc...

Why are people attacking Frank like he isn't just doing his job? The most ridiculous thing going on this site is the disrespect this man still gets for all he's done for LSU. For all the crying about losing recruits, he didn't try to take a single one. Also his "tampering" people keep crying about? Every got damn body is tampering. Who gives AF? Do your job better than the next guy. That's all.

Yall are acting like kids.
I said early yesterday on here that he was all LSU. None of the other crap made sense. His uncle seemed like he just wanted to feel important.
This is still all LSU. The uncle wants to feel important. Wants the schools to cater to him too. Wish the kid would tell him that it's done, it's over.
You are not getting him to leave Miami. Plus, I heard that the ACC gave Miami all the playoff money instead of spreading it throughout the conference. With boosters willing to blow up to 10 mill for a one year QB rental and coming a few plays away from winning a national championship for his alma mater, he isn't going anywhere.

This is more likely his agent using this to get him a pay raise.
He just won't be able to enroll and participate in spring practice, However he is damn good and a multi yesr starter so it wouldn't be as bad as somebody who hasn't played a down before in college.
