If he stays, Ole Miss fans are basically the wife whose husband flirts with all the hot girls at the bar but comes home to her because they have a kid together and it’s just easier at this point to stay. (The kid being a metaphor for the playoff) but as soon as the kid is gone. She knows he’s leaving her for a way hotter chick.

The Kelly hire was Riley from all the sources until it wasn’t..
The O hire was Herman or Jimbo until it wasn’t…
The Miles hire was Houston Nutt or Jimbo until it wasn’t…(not sure if I was on TIgerdroppings or not that point)
That’s as far back as I can remember a coaching search… they get more entertaining now for sure because everyone knows somebody that knows something about it.

No. Let him focus on recruiting and putting a staff in place. That goes for any coach we may hire. He can be involved with the team but let him start focusing on next year.

Thanks. I won’t overthink it. Now tell Kiffin to stop thinking and make a choice so we can all move forward and hopefully laugh at Ole Miss.
I don’t care if we land him. There are other options that have over achieved at their current jobs that we can pull and not worry about 15 Mil a year.
Lane would be fun as hell when things are going well but man if things start going bad our fanbase is going to be flipping out because of his X antics.
I am just hoping he leaves Ole Miss and they return to the doormat where they belong.
