Marcel Reed Gives Blunt Answer When Asked What's Different About LSU

By Staff Reporter•Sep 27, 202612:06 am•

Texas A&M quarterback Marcel Reed was asked after Saturday night's game what stood out most about this LSU team compared to the ones he faced the previous two seasons.

His answer was short and to the point.

“They have a different coach.”

In Saturday night's loss, Reed completed just 10 of 26 passes for 106 yards with one interception and was sacked four times.

LSU also contained him on the ground, holding Reed to -13 yards on 10 carries.

Man, that is a fricking lazy answer. Every offensive coach and virtually every player on the entire offense was fired. There’s a whole more changed than just BK….

If Lane is a major success here- which we're all counting on- Reed should never have to pay for a meal in Baton Rouge. He did us a major favor last season, in a roundabout way.....LOL

Surprised Reed found the podium. It was about the only thing that he found all night.

He actually spoke very well.

Commentators would get giddy whenever Reed showed a burst yet say nothing exciting when Leavitt or Clark did the very same thing. Why is that required in broadcasting?

What you’re describing didn’t happen at all. Why are LSU fans so bitchy about announcers?

Listen to the LSU network coverage while or go to the game then (I cannot comment on whether commentators were biased because I was at the game, but I know our coverage is usually very good).
