Was very underwhelming. The build-up had great potential and was riveting along the way but I thought the conclusion of season 2 was weak sauce and left a lot of meat on the bone.

Thoughts?
I watched Sanford and Son as a kid at 10:30 PM in the late 70s and early 80s. My parents were divorced and while at my mom's, I had to go to bed earlier, but my dad would let me stay up so I can watch it. To this day, hands-down still, my favorite sitcom.

Seen every episode at least five times. Red Foxx was truly ahead of his time.

The recent ESPN preseason poll did not have Clemson in the top 25 - gonna be a long year for crying Dabo

ESPN preseason poll had them top 5 last year and it was a long fukn year
Father-son exchanges b/w BBT and Sam Elliott are pretty powerful.

I have watched the first couple of episodes of season one. Without revealing spoilers, should I just quit now or should I continue on?

Hang it up. Outside of BBT's occasional rants, the show has gone to shite focusing too much time and attention to the widowed girlfriend and the progressive lawyer. While overplayed as frick, at least Angela and daughter are easy on the eyes. The show starts and ends with Billy Bob Thornton, and it seems we're getting less than less of him in season two.
As an avid saltwater fisherman, I would give you more of votes if I could for your analogy. Well done.

Good riddance to this season… We got baseball starting in two months and probably the most anticipated season of Tiger football in 8 months...

And a new era shall officially begin

You can't do that unless you blow up the traditional conferences and create divisions like the NFL.

That is precisely what needs to happen.

"Traditional" conferences? Traditional conferences went out the window when West Coast teams joined the Big Ten and ACC conferences. Nothing screams "traditional" like Florida St. playing a conference game in Palo Alto or Southern Cal playing a conference game in New Jersey. That train has already left the station.

Eliminate autobids and take the top 12 teams regardless of conference.

Top 12 teams according to whom? The CFP voters? The subjective means of choosing the playoff teams must be removed.

Worst episode to date. I found myself fast-forwarding past scenes with Mexican gal and the attorney. Slow and not necessary.

Billie Bob is why I watch. He was not in more than a 1/3 of the show last night.

Yes but I was referring to his 6 in New England.

You are insane...look at the last 2 SB's the Chiefs did win and look at the WR core they were dogshit. In 2022 I think it was the WR's lead the league in drops and still Mahomes/Chiefs won the going on the road to Buffalo and to Baltimore.

You do realize that outside the Randy Moss years that Brady never had a true #1 receiver. He has Gronk and small shifty slot receivers.
Sayin and Mendoza entered B1G CG with 30/32 TD passes. Burrow finished the 2019 15-game season with 60.TDs.
I believe Jefferson and Chase each had 20 TDs.

LSU beat 7 top 10 teams: Texas, Florida, Auburn, Alabama, Georgia, Oklahoma, and Clemson. And with the exception of Alabama and Auburn, they rolled everyone.
