LSU's quarterback Garrett Nussmeier was downgraded from probable to questionable for Saturday's game vs. Arkansas, according to the injury report released on Friday night.

Interim head coach Frank Wilson said Thursday that Nussmeier aggravated an injury in practice and listed him as probable. Now, it's unclear if he will play vs. the Razorbacks.

Nussmeier's questionable status leaves the door open for backup Michael Van Buren to make his first career start for the Tigers.

Linebacker Whit Weeks, who was listed as questionable on Thursday, has been officially ruled out vs. the Razorbacks and will now miss his fourth straight game.

Weeks has been dealing with a bone bruise on his ankle since the South Carolina game on Oct 11.

Here's the full injury report from Friday night:

Lol. We can pretend Nuss “aggravated an injury”.

Or you can assume you’re talking to adults with working brains and you can tell the truth.

Nuss got what he always wanted this morning, his picture plastered on the front page of the advocate sports in that 18 jersey with that mascara running down his face

Appreciate your service and us. You were trying to do your best. It's just the offensive line is so atrocious. Can't blame you one bit dude. You have been hit and I know you're gun shy but who wouldn't be after the line play that we've had this season and the crazy thing is is that Brian Kelly had to have known when all the media was talking about how poor the offensive line was that this offensive line was horrible and yet did nothing in the transfer portal to try to shore it up. Best of luck to you. Appreciate you being a tiger once a tiger always a tiger. Now let's go beat them razorbacks today

Someone needs to convince MVB to change his number to #8 next season. The NIL merch will sell itself.

. Wasted this year and a total rebuild next year. This will set lsu back a few more years to being middle of the SEC

Middle of the SEC will be a small miracle in 2026, especially when the transfer portal ravages this roster and we are scrambling for bodies

LSU QB's are nails. If you are not, just move on.

Yep, and Nuss has really never been ‘nails’ sadly. What has made his career so frustrating is you see enough flashes of brilliance to know his potential that was never fully realized.
