re: Sorinex/PPSA Benchuary
Posted by Displaced on 2/20/26 at 7:05 am to Canuck Tiger
I'm invested at this point as there is only 1 week left, but I haven't enjoyed this as much as squatober and will likely be skipping next year.
I miss hitting other bodyparts. I feel like Benchamin franklin 2 is a much better all around workout and just as good of a chest program as benchuary has been.

re: Any Catholic guilt, Lent for you all? Friday no meat? What you got?

I'm doing no candy/ice cream and using lent to give up my diet coke habit.
My wife is going through OCIA (formerly RCIA) and will be baptized Catholic this Easter. I finally have some support for lent this year.

Doubtful. Anyone who would tune in for a Metallica show was already watching the Superbowl

Half the country will tune out this arse clown tomorrow. There is only risk for the NFL when it didn’t have to be that way
Again doubtful. People either don't care enough to turn it off for 9 minutes or will tune in just to complain about it on Twitter (like you I suspect)
Either way, the few who do care enough to tune out will turn it back on in the 3rd quarter if they were watching at all...

Honestly, why do you even care about the halftime show at all? Do you like football or do you like commercials and 9 minute concerts?
You may not like bad bunny, but you will have a hard time arguing against his popularity with people the NFL is trying to draw the eyes of.
I bet you know how to dance the macarena though....
Btw, this is virtue signaling

You're so out of touch it's not even worth arguing.
They have the USA. They are trying to expand worldwide. That's why they are expanding the international game schedule even though the home crowd doesn't like it
:rotflmao: you're a moron.

when you keep trying to turn off and offend half the country which is half the customers you are trying to sell the NFL too.

What a retarded statement.

I hate having to get a random spot when I'm at the gym. They never seem to get it right. Always yanking it off my chest when I'm not struggling at all.
I want you there to keep me from dying not take my lift away.

Just finished. Got 5 @ the AMRAP.
Probably could have gotten 6, but I'm alone in the basement and didn't want to fail.
My wife said she would wake up and work out with me so I could get a spot... Alas, I am alone

re: Those with a gym membership - what are you paying per month?

$10/month crunch basic membership. 5 minutes from work. Gets me a place to workout during lunch.
I didn't like the programming for it last year, so I skipped it.
I would be interested this year, but I'm about 2 days from finishing Benchamin franklin. I was gonna FOTH next, but I may jump in for benchuary if there is a squatober vibe to it. Love the vibes in that thread where everyone is working out together.

There is a huge difference between being waited on like you're at a five-star resort and trashing the place.
I'm not sure where in the middle is the gray area of being required to do chores, take out all the trash, strip the sheets off the bed, etc, but it is a place that the general public is starting to reject and not find it worth paying for. Especially when you're already paying an additional fee which is supposedly for cleaning and doing the chores that you are required to do upon check out.

Then don't charge a "cleaning fee"

One older white lady today demanded our cleaners send them four more rolls of toilet paper today. They are renting a one bathroom unit for three more days and there are three people total staying there. Who the hell goes through that much toilet paper
Your point is not unreasonable, but this is the disconnect.
In a hotel, you call down and get more TP. Should guests be expected to have to buy toilet paper?

Dumb how? It's relevant to other discussion on the board, involves a national championship coach, and the thread title is 100% factual.
Any reason you chose not to title this thread "Former A&M coach says..."
I think this is the first year that all extended family members on both sides have finally agreed to the pact that we only buy for the kids, not each other
It's a glorious feeling!
