It is velcro, but I have had absolutely 0 issue with the velcro coming undone during a set. I love how easy it is ...

I loved elbow meat. One of my favorites.
Coming off Squatober, started Benchamin Franklin 2 this morning
Day 1: it's a good full body workout, finished in just under an hour
Loved having the squats and DLs in this program, but coming off Squatober, it's nice to know they aren't in EVERY...

Finished the Hangover this morning using new max.
It was a lot harder than the rest of the workouts this week. I opted for 5 SS of 20 with pushdowns, EZ bar curls, and DB shrugs. That was pretty brutal. My HR stayed pretty high throughout the whole workout. Most importantly though...

Weighed in at 160.8 this morning and I turn 38 in less than a month.
Been using 320 as a TM and found it fairly easy.
My goal was to hit 2x my bodyweight today and I surpassed that goal. I hit 325 pretty easily and felt good. Tried to push it to 335 and film my lift.

I normally don't eat breakfast, but I had to push my workout to lunch today and ate a big breakfast in preparation.
My final set was 105% of my working max and I got it with relative ease.
I did 75% on the BP instead of 70, and felt like I should have done 80%
Turns out eating before workin...

Yeah. I did day 22 this AM too. Felt good. My chest is SUUUUPER tight from yesterday.
My dog got very confused at the suitcase/waiter carries. He was under my feet the whole time, so I'm out there in the driveway at 6:15 am yelling at the puppy to "fricking move!" :lol:...

I'm feeling great 2/3 through the month.
By my estimation, I've gained about 1.5 lbs of muscle.
I PRed a 10k this morning.
Knees feeling good.
Hamstrings are like rubber bands about to pop though :lol:
I need a really good stretch ...
