LSU freshman offensive lineman Carius Curne is entering the transfer portal, according to Hayes Fawcett.

Curne, a former five-star recruit from Hughes, Ark., was one of the top offensive linemen in the class of 2025.

Curne played in seven games this past season, with starts at both left and right tackle.

Chasing a paycheck - enter the portal and either their current team ups the pay or the new team does. God I hate NIL

I'll bet he doesn't though. Would you really turn down a chance to get big bucks in the portal? That's what I thought. Then don't hate it. It isn't our money anyway

Idl if you know a ton about the NIL... but O linemen are not getting a "ton" of money.

It's not a paycheck though. Some of you digits really don't understand that position coaches still do matter to some extent.

First transfer since Lance heard that I've really hated

Entering the transfer portal does not necessarily mean the player is leaving.

True. It's his "intention" to enter. He's just seeing who will contact his agent, and how much they will pay. ITS NOT A DONE DEAL. ....yet

People are getting cra cra over this when most every position on the offense is 'open for a new starter'. Have you read the stats from this year..........Tear down and rebuild time - Kiffin Time!

The article title says "loses a player to portal"

Welcome to the new reality of NIL Offseason. Everybody will be looking for the highest bidder and with so many teams you are going to lose some good players yearly. Can you really blame the kids? This maybe be their only chance to make millions if they flame out. Dont hate the player hate the NIL currently.

I don’t mind the NIL, that’s manageable. It’s the immediate eligibility circus of the portal that makes it impossible for coaches to predict and even put together a roster. The portal ruined college football, NIL has always been around in one form or another.

NIL at your service.

Calm down people. Listen to Matt Moscona, Jacob Hester, Matt Flynn etc etc and they will explain how the portal works. He has only given his "intention" to enter the portal. Then other agents can contact his agent with "offers" of how much he can make if he actually "enters" the portal on Jan 2. Then you can get your britches in a wringer.

Disagree. It’s not NIL, it’s the portal.

He was the one who moved and had 5 penalties during the A&M game, each one stopped momentum. I was looking forward to seeing how much he could improve over the summer. I wish him well.

The O-Line was the worst part of the team this season. I remember during the aTm game they were getting destroyed. The defense was just running around and through them. This and along with QB needs to be the biggest focus during the off season.

He got destroyed on his only action

Is it accurate to say lost to portal? Or more accurate to say entered portal? Come on with headlines!!!!!
