The subject and the description is not consistent.

In Texas, we already have school choice. One can choose to send their children to private or public schools or home school. Your choice. The way it has been spun is maddening.

Now, vouchers - pay for private schools from public funds is horrific. Private schools don't have the same accountability as public schools and private can pick and choose who they let in. Public has to take everyone.

I was reading the House and Senate bills - neither address the requirement of private schools taking public funds being required to monitor or report the same way.

Simply not fair. And yes, it supplements the wealthy who already are sending their children to private schools.
it was Green Meadows.

The original was a pretty cool design. If they would have maintained the course and kept the original design, it would have been a good test of golf. If you played the "new" part that was west of the original 18, it was a rice field that they let the weeds take over and laid out a golf course on it.
Had a friend go through CIA in NY, then went and received a Masters from UH in Hospitality/Restaurant Management

Been there.

Sucks getting old.

When I play golf or work in the yard, hydrate, hydrate, hydrate.

I use rotate LMNT and Gatorade powders in my water bottle.
Isn't that how they developed Soylent Green?
I can remember going to the one on Government and Acadian, near BRHS. We were limited to $2 (yes, I am old), and getting a Dilly Plate, bread, desert and a drink and staying under. Sometimes, I would get the etouffee and salad and still stay under the limit. Always had amazing food!

unless your driver's license number changed (opened with a different state DL), there should be no issues. Yes, I work for a bank.
Happens frequently with me. I have fun with it, letting them ask all kinds of questions. Finally, I ask how much, they want to pass it along (thinking this is a hot lead) to someone who will make an offer. I have "wasted" about 30 minutes of their time by then.

If this is supposed to be accurate, with quality of life and economic strength being part of the formula, why are most of the markets in the top 50 in areas that people are moving away from?

Have one in the back yard. It freezes every year and gets trimmed down to the base. Comes back every year.
Coming to BR this spring. Want to take the wife out for our anniversary dinner. Something nice and represents BR and the culture of south La.

We used Window World. We are in Houston, but the company is based in Louisiana. They did a fantastic job. We have seen a difference in our utility costs. House is much more comfortable. Highly recommend.

typically skirt steak.

A good friend of mine started me on this - when rib eye's go on sale for cheaper that skirt steak, buy some thinly sliced and use them as fajita meat. Even if they are "cheap" rib eyes, they are still much better then skirt.
