I agree with this, and, in short order, this flip-flop for money behavior is going to cost a lot of high school prospects a lot of money and opportunities! Some HS kids who aren't elite 5*s but one or two notches down the recruiting rankings are going to get less or no NIL $ because of the BS flipping for more concern. Transfers are guaranteed on campus once they sign. Screw the "gotta get mine" mentality for a kid who hasn't set foot between the lines on a collegiate football field. The HS recruits who aren't standing by their "commitments" are creating a market for prospects to be treated like commodities which will put some kids in lower conferences and divisions to prove themselves or even be developed before getting their "big" offer! It'll be like Major League Baseball soon, but in a contact sport where an injury could cost a kid their entire future. The rules need to change for sure.
