All is well that ends well. Come on down Mr.Brown. You are next!
I can see that. What I saw though this year was a tired old man. The first two years he had some fire. As time went on he just seemed to be ready to collect his paycheck and put little effort into coaching and even recruiting. Only Brian Kelly fully knows, but I think we can figure his timeline out on caring and energy.

Not lsu related at all.. but have yall seen Penn state? They have 3 commits. How the hell is that even possible

Kharma sometimes is late. But when it shows up…..Couldnt happen to a better school and fans.
Well written. Upvote.

It was a toxic mix of he’s an old man mentally, a lengthy contract in which he basically had the “no way they fire me” attitude as well as the SEC requires you to work on a daily basis. He got burnt out. I do hope he coaches at Penn State. They deserve each other.
It’s something for the pea brained sportscasters to talk about. If Lane went to Florida, Penn State or Alabama in 2-3 years they would be saying they were kind too good to pass up. That Oxford was an intermediate point on his journey, he hit his ceiling there…..They are so predictable. That’s why I don’t listen to them peddling their nonsense just for listenership.

Lane is more of a the villain than LSU. All LSU did was bring in the best coach they needed.

And if Lane today were to go back to Ole Miss these guys would be like school girls crying and shouting with joy over the Beatles at Oxford’s airport.

Upvote. Plus the tailgating scene is so much better at LSU hands down. The grove is just rednecks who think they have money. Chicken tenders is their idea of tailgate food.
Winning is a magic wand that rebuilds burnt bridges in an instant.
Good look at Southern Iowa State
He has that kickass classic corn belt Midwest accent. Sounds like a lot of my coworkers who are from central Illinois. I also loved Kiffin’s sincerity and humbleness. A refreshing change for sure.

Young people see a world with crushing student loans, poor employment prospects, and unobtainable housing.

A lot of those young people chose to go to expensive universities only to major in a useless field. Going to a JUCO for 2-3 years was beneath them. The employment prospects are what you make of it. The trades need people bad but being a plumber is so blue collar! no way dude! The housing market is what it is. You can get affordable housing outside of the coastal cities. But these young people want to live in cities that serve latte mocha mint sprinkled with nutmeg. I would like to live in the Gold Coast neighborhood of Chicago. I can't afford it like most people. Hence, we live in the suburbs.
Please say it just one more time…..thanks.
I got “You are a true Aggie!” As my result answer.
Everyone deserves a 7th chance.
Hard pass on Ed. He had his chance at being a responsible adult and blew it.

I thought the North Side was the good part of Chicago.

It mostly is. It’s the shitheads from the west and south sides that come up to cause problems. The north side does though have a bad area in West Roger’s park but that is nothing compared to the west and south sides.
Braxton Bragg was rumored to have retreated from the gates of heaven.

It is an investment. Not a grant. They will get the money back down the road. That is how business works. Please pay attention to the NIL discussion.
