Aggie by himself is ok. Notre Dame by himself is arrogant and smug. When both get in packs (add booze) they get vulgar and confrontational. I remember Ole Miss fans from my college days 30 years ago as being dumb “rich” kids. It sounds like things are still the same. I’ve been living in the Chicago area for 22 years so I don’t have to deal with them thank God but Notre Dame fans more than make up for their stupidity and arrogance.

His earlier books were great. He brought his politics in with his later books which kind of dampened things a bit but I like his style of writing and historical flashbacks. Sometimes too I can’t decide if he loves or hates our state.

Historical republican voters aren’t going to Democrat just because of THC issues.That is just a scare article to keep republican voters at home.

The main problem of Texas is going to be all of the relocated Bay Area tech companies who’s workers vote (D), as well as middle easterners and Indians that Abbott has been bringing in gleefully. Dallas and some burbs look like Karachi, Tehran and Calcutta.

By chance how does suburban Milwaukee vote? I know Whitefish Bay is full of limousine liberals but curious about the rest of the MKE burbs. It’s safe to say that almost all of Dane County (even Janesville now) is full of leftist loons.

A lot of shite moved up from Chicago to Milwaukee starting in the 1990’s due to better opportunities to sell drugs as well as much better welfare benefits. The north side of Milwaukee went to shite fast.

Started in the 70’s when the radical leftists left the Bay Area. Seattle and Portland were still rather conservative cities back then by today’s standards. The 1980’s was the big push to Seattle and the 90’s to Portland once Seattle became almost as bad as San Fransisco to live in rent wise. Many in this time period were white and Asian students who couldn’t get into UC Berkeley or Stanford due to quotas. They went to Oregon or UoWashington instead. Many stayed there.

You need to write a book, Lemmy! Good stuff that is informative and funny. What is your take on why online dating sucks now? Before Covid if you weren’t high fiving the third base coach after the 3rd date, something just wasn’t there. But now it feels like first dates are more like job interviews and indecisiveness that just spill over into the second and third dates. I also get a sense that ladies don’t like travel pics and have a semi-fear of successful independent men which before Covid was your golden ticket. I’m curious on your take and opinion. Thanks!

With most dating sites expect to see:

1. Fat blue haired cat ladies with no social skills.
2. The 48 year old good looking lady who still wants a guy her age that is rich.
3. Angry liberal ladies who’s profile is self defeating.
4. Ladies who are just bored and will just talk to you to cure their boredom.
5. The lady who you hit it off with but that is 200 miles away.
6. Bots, scammers.
7. The plans changer.
8. Your next GF.

Patience and luck will eventually come together. 10-15 years ago was a golden time. Now it’s a weird scene. I thought it was just here in the Chicago area but sounds like it is nationwide. Have fun and happy hunting!
