Four-star weak side defensive end LaJesse Harrold announced his de-commitment from LSU on Thursday night.

The 6-5, 220-pound prospect from Tampa, Fla., originally committed to LSU in June over offers from Texas A&M, UCF, Auburn, Miami, and many other schools.

Florida State is reportedly the favorite to land Harrold.

My interest in college football is really being strained with the unchecked money.

NCAA should consider stepping in to protect their brand. Make it like the NFL pension. All share in it. Not specific to one person.

The NCAA needs to save these universities from themselves. Problem is the barn door has been opened and all of these upcoming families want to get paid and Portnoy and his clown show have set the bar much much higher now.

Why pay a kid who waits till week before signing day to play Monopoly money. Better off getting a 3 star that really wants to be at LSU.

At this point, LaJesse was probably processed. We needed his spot to make room for a big fish or an immediate impact transfer player.

Who cares, the transfer portal out gains the signing day now, it's all about the portal to fulfill a teams needs for the short term, it's all about NCs right,,,?

Ole Miss is undefeated, right?? Can’t wait to see their team next year. Just like what’s going on in Tallahassee this year. The portal isn’t the answer for a roster. It is to augment one.

My question is. If they’re on NIL do they even have to attend classes.

They don't care about education, Nor does the University for both it's about the mighty dollar , the one's really hurt are the kids who pay tuition , watch that go up.

That's exactly why i say that there should be a rule that if you have an NIL deal, you shouldn't get to have a scholarship
