re: Who's coming in after Kade?

He still looks good. Let him start inning with a quick hook.

Sure you're not talking about my wife.LOL. Only good thing is she could care less about sitting in a ballpark for 4 hours. But that Irish temper........

I said the same thing to a friend when he came in. He has a small sampling but when he's pitched he's pretty much been on. I think Jay won't hesitate to bring him in if needed regardless of the situation.
His emergence at this time bodes well for the pitching staff going into Omaha. Will be exciting to see his development as he moves forward. Get Shores dealing too and this pitching staff will be difficult to beat.
Doesn’t look like any more rain coming. I understand not wanting to start Eyenson if there was a chance . Everything looks like it’s staying north of us but I guess he wants to make sure.
Hunt had a WV media guy on his show and he said their issue coming down the stretch was their bullpen. Sound familiar? But that they were relying on the same guys and the innings added up and looked like their arms got a little tired there at the end. Will need to get into that bullpen as early as possible.
All I know is I enjoy the game when Ben is on. He gives a lot of insight that you wouldn't get from a lot of other color guys. Like when he spoke about the rotation speed of different pitchers. He has college and pro experience and also has a good sense of humor.
It was definitely a Ty Floyd moment. We needed a pitcher to step up and he did. Not knowledgeable enough history wise to say where it's exactly ranked but considering the issues with pitching and the gravity of the moment should be top 5.

Well Noot and Shores looked good the last month but didn't perform this weekend. I say try Noot again and if he doesn't have it go the Shores/Cowens/Evans route again.
When I saw we were hitting the ball hard even though most were right at the LR players and that CF made a great catch I knew it was only a matter of time before they started hitting some in the gaps and out the park. I felt if we could find a pitcher that could step up we would win the game. Evans was that guy. 4 runs was nothing to over come.
Was right there with you. Told my buds if we can find a pitcher to step up we’ll get the runs. Wasn’t worried about that. And Evan’s stepped up. Eyesonn with the close.
Evan’s. Once I saw he was in control I knew we could overcome a 4 run deficit. We were hitting the ball hard but right at the LR players. Was only a matter of time but Evans gave the team the confidence they needed. Definitely a Floyd moment.

Thank God someone finally stepped up. Keep the pitching up and LSU wins this game.
ECU has been there and is a decent baseball school. Less likely to get caught up in the moment of being in a regional on the road. Still FL was one of the hottest teams in the SEC at the end of the season.
I met him a couple of times while he was at LSU. Seemed like a likable guy. Very approachable and always smiling and laughing. I believe him. But financially he made the best decision for his family.
7. But if hitting shows up sky is the limit.
I was in Broken Bow Ok at a distillery bar and had my LSU garb on and had some Texas Tech and OK people in there so we started talking a little trash all in fun and I mentioned sweeping OK and beating ARK that day and one of the women laughed and said we don’t care about all that. All we care about is softball. I laughed but it looks like it’s true other than football.
Well she’s from the hood so…..
