re: How far off is our defense from looking like Texas or OSU ?

Great players make average players better. One or two monsters change everything.
Next year. We comin. And BK is taking receipts.

re: Ohio State -6.5 against Texas. Who do y'all like?

Texas.
Huge school with deep, top talent. Admittedly dont click always. But the difference is always motivation. Underdog is all i need.
Ohio cannot just out muscle this type of team.

All I took was return kick, two fumbles, and some questionable calls for ND.

…. Same old ND team that has a blowout just around the corner.
Ha is built for ND (poor man Bama team from 2022)

GA is going to grind them down in second half.

Evil in the world. AND this was preventable.
Blood on hands of all the politicians who left us unprotected at the border and the incompetent politicians running NOlA not to have bourbon street secured.
Pray to your God, BUT ROW AWAY FROM THE ROCKS!

The comparison of records to Co, a gimmick feel good story story, to LSU is possibly the craziest thing I’ve read on here in a while. Where do these people come from?

Don’t disagree. But give the devil his due. If you ever wondered what a free market would look like, this is about as close to it as I’ve seen. That makes it hard for me to reconcile.
Uga is that team that can play down and still win
Posted by Coonass on 11/30/24 at 7:06 am
Bama used to be that team. LSU had fits and starts with being that team.
Now the pendulum has swung to UGA. They have so much depth, that even if they don’t show up to play, they still win.
Expect them to go deep in the playoffs now it’s show time. A motivated UGA team is dangerous. And all you girls hate that.

This. $10-12 million at 18 is not set for life, unless you’re careful —- and an 18 yo will likely not be.
Not to mention. 45% taxes off the top.
Then is there an agent fee? Mom and dad fee? Gotta get that awesome new car (depreciating asset). So yeah, he might have $3m on and $100m lifestyle.

re: Are there really LSU fans who think Sloan should be our OC next year?

No. He should be the ST coach.

Agreed. It’s the traffic.

And money is relative.
Louisiana has wealth too. Just as much as other schools. All you need is one Uber wealthy alum who wants to support the school. $50m per year is nothing when your worth hundreds of millions, and plenty (relatively speaking) LSU grads are in that level

I appreciate the 2 personal fouls. They were not unfair, just borderline too rough for today’s football.

A few more for consideration:

People in the north are more racists than southerners. Have you seen how Boston is still segregated?
Everyone knows not to enter a land war in Asia.
Anything north of I-10 is all the same in the south. Just a slightly different twang.

Bama almost lost to AU and would have lost but for the rushed no review catch.
Discussion should:
Michigan
Wash
UGA (29-1, defending two time nat champ and only lost in SEC by 3 points thanks to plenty of Bama bias (and a missed FG that hit the upright).
