NY Daily News Columnist Rips Nick Saban Calls Him A “Clueless Coward” for not speaking out against R
Matthew Emmons-USA TODAY Sports
New York Daily News columnist Chuck Modiano went in hard on Alabama head coach Nick Saban on Thursday. Like really hard. Here are just a few highlights of Modiano's column titled "Nick Saban is a clueless, gutless, selfish coward for his silence on Roy Moore"...
quote:

Saban’s shining career moment to show true leadership and humanity.

By remaining silent on the numerous allegations that Moore was a pedophile, Saban showed he does not care about the plight or protection of young women and girls.
quote:

By remaining silent on Moore’s romanticization of slavery, Saban showed he does not care about the plight or opinions of so many young black men who produce his unearned salary.

This guy is a idiot. You can't try and convict someone without due process.

at first I thought this was a Shaun King article. Another liberal DUMBASS.

This is asinine. Let me know where in Saban's contract does it say he is obligated to comment on political matters. Saban is a football coach, not a political commentator. My lord, what an idiotic article.

Um..... Nick Saban has a playoff game and his him job... the one we pay him handsomely to do and that brings the state economy millions... is to coach football. Politics is the ultimate distraction and I'm GLAD he keeps his hand on the plow.

Dude is preparing for Clemson, he doesn't have time for Roy Moore or Doug Jones. I call Chuck Modiano a clueless coward for not blogging about whether or not he chose Auburn to cover.

I would love to be alone in a room with this son of a moustached Italian harlot. There will come a day when it will be open season on liquidating media people. They think they're untouchable but they will see they are not.

He is the highest paid public servant in the state of Alabama by a wide margin. He should have to do more than run a modern day slave plantation and hoist worthless trophies.

The UofA protects rapists. Rapist(BUNN Construction) paid for Saban's house. Why would Saban come out against rapist?

I hate to defend Nick but who is this tool singling out Saban, a football coach, for not jumping on the social justice wagon? It would be like going after a local medical doctor for the AIDS epidemic in Africa. Screw whoever this punk is wanting his 15 minutes of fame.

sounds like da gay people are mad...... everyone has a right to their own opinion AND WHETHER TO PUBLICIZE IT OR WHETHER TO KEEP QUIET, regardless of what is thought.

This is stupid. It is not in a college football coach’s job description to be vocal on politics. Also, the right to remain silent or keep your political views private is a part of free speech.

A person of saban's stature should never talk politics or religion in public. It can only result in negative publicity. Saban is smart enough to keep his mouth shut, thank God.

He's essentially a royal in Alabama. Fun fact, the Monarchy in England, despite being head of state and the commonwealth, voices no political opinion, so as not to DIVIDE THE NATION any more than necessary.

Another person trying to gain some relevance by running his mouth about someone relevant. Sad society we live in these days.

This snowflake meltdown steals 15 minutes of fame from Saban, then Larry gives him an extra 15 minutes here... Go figure.

Saban isn’t gonna stick his nose in that because it could become a distraction to the process.

Sounds like this columnist Chuck Modiano is the coward in a long line from NY. I’m no fan of Saban or Alabama but screw this ignorant fool, bet he wouldn’t say it to Sabans face.

Nick Saban did exactly as he should and kept politics out of his job as a football coach.

I would pay big money to have that fagboy show up and ask Saban why he didn't speak up about Moore during a press conference. It would be one the most epic arse rapings by Saban of all time
