I felt the d line looked improved this year vs the past several. I think Kyle is on the right track to LSU having a good d line again.

Also I'm not sure if Coach O can be trusted yet. He was literally trying to pick pregnant wives at the gas station and running rampant on blondes.

I think it should be a long debate about if Coach O needs to be around the program. Maybe some type of recruiting consultant would be a job for him and maybe not a on field coach.

I hope that girl is ok right now.

Im not disagreeing with you, but it's obvious Lane wanted to coach the playoffs and Ole Miss admin said no way because of the rivalry angle.

I think most players will understand that Ole Miss admin blew up the playoff run. Drop a bag on them and they will likely get over it and come to LSU.

It critical we get better o line play so hopefully he brings some with him.

Hopefully Saban reminds him Ed O won a championship at LSU. And then he ask Lane, "Do you think your a better coach then Ed?"

Then hopefully he reminds him how much nfl potential talent goes to LSU vs Ole Miss. Its easier to win Championships in Baton Rouge.

I don't know a great deal about Monte other then how badass hisTampa 2 Defense was.

First off, we made a offer. He takes it or he doesn't. LSU didn't blow anything.

Second off, you say we would be Stuck with Baker. What a dumb statement. There are at least 20 successful coaches that would give their left nut to get a chance to lead LSU. Just because you haven't heard about their interest does not mean it's not there.

Today's the one game I can make it to this year.

I can guarantee you his agency (CAA) is dying to get another foot hold in LSU and all that entails. (Signing Athletes, working on NFL deals, NIL negotiations, Etc) One thing that doesn't get talked about is NFL agent commission is capped at 3%. There is no commission caps when working with college athletes, so agents now a days want to be involved in NIL deals and LSU is a big one.

They haven't had easy access in a while because our coaches have not been CAA clients.

So realizing that CAA and Sexton have a reason to want to be part of LSU football, LSU can play a little hard ball with him. If I was Verge I would say "you will not get access to our program ever if you dick me around on the search."

Even if Kiffin decides not to come there is strong motivation for Sexton to try to get one of his other coaches the LSU job.

Most high schools practice in the morning now. 6:30 am during season for my HS football player.
