re: Milazzo 2024 Stat Line

I told yall he was a hitter. He won't put it over the fence much but he's a hell of batter....

I not even sure why yall are talking about our hitting in a game we gave up 15 hits in. The story of last night's game is Holman giving up 10 hits.
Do yall think Holman will continue to give up 10 hits every outing or do you think its more likely last night was just not a good game. I don't exp...
The GOAL is a sweep. The expectation is 2/3
GET IT RIGHT
On the road against an SEC program? Non sense.
You guys are selectively reading what I said also. The expectation from a ball player is to compete in every game and have a chance to win.
From a fans perspective, if...

We gave up a lot of hits in one SEC game. Don't jump to conclusions.
Our pitching is not even settled yet. We thought Hurd would be the Friday night guy. Then Holman seemed to take it. It may switch back to Hurd or several other talented guys. This staff is very talented and Holman just had ...
This is loser mentality. The goal is 3 out of 3 during the SEC weekend.

BS, you're not seasoned baseball fan if you think so. Research it. Series sweeps are a low probability. That's how SEC baseball goes. I'm talking about from a fan perspective. Of course I expect every LS...

All the chicken little fans need to settle down. You don't win every baseball game.
I remember yall melting also when Miss State won last year's series.
Let's see what happens tomorrow. It's a new day.
If you had to pick one baseball coach in the country to get an offense going, who woul...
And based off what you just gave me where do you rank State? State is looking close to the bottom of the SEC this year. Looking like we can sweep this year based off your stats
Dang some of you "fans" are nuts. Winning 2 out of 3 in a road game series is the goal. Sweeps don't ha...

Chicken shite attitude.
You don't think a bunch of young hitters will get better as the season goes along?
What were you expecting. Everybody to mash homers and win every game by 10 run rule. If so you weren't paying attention to the guys we have this...

Johnson threw some strikes but wasn't pumping them in there. He will be a good one but he is so raw now.
I liked what I saw from Moffitt. He was throwing an easy 95-96 and had more control then Johnson.
Helmers looked good to me with a little more movement on his stuff. I liked how they tal...

re: Do you think they'll continue to experiment with the batting order into SEC play?
Posted by PoppaD on 3/13/24 at 2:54 pm
I like yesterday's lineup. I'd like to see Trav, Neal, and Milazzo all in the lineup more.
Manily because Milazzo is a really good hitter. Sure Milazzo will not bang homeruns over fence. But he takes good at bats, makes good contact, and has a knack for finding the holes in the defense....

re: LSU baseball lineup for tonight. Kade on the mound. Neal in RF

I like it Milazzo and Neal are good hitters. Neal in RF is a way to get two good bats in the lineup.
I am surprised because I didn't know Neal could play RF or ever has....

I agree with you. It definitely changes their game. They seem to press hard to hit when they can't swing for the fences.
We have great hitters though, the winds will shift and they will get it going. Today sucked, next g...

I'm getting that way. It's not so much they are not hitting, because they are. It's that the boys are swinging at mediocre pitchers junk pitches. They have not been seeing the ball great and breaking balls are eating them up.
I hope pitch recognition gets much better. Which it will as the se...
