You don't give millions to someone who can't throw strikes. If that was the case every college pitcher would be in the minor leagues.
Clearly regressed since arriving and that's a coaching problem or the stage is just too big for him and he needs to transfer elsewhere to LSUE.

Broski said it’s dumb to start the highest rated pitcher we’ve ever had reach campus on a Sunday SEC start. It may stunt his growth and what not.
What's more dumb. Start C. Johnson when he can only throw one pitch over the plate for a strike? (his fastball) Or give him time in Tue...

Pinstripes are my favorite also. It's actually the only LSU jersey at all that I own because I like it so much....

I wonder this also, after watching their war machine flounder in front of our faces.
What do yall think Russian capabilities are? Can they really hit specific targets from Mother Russia or would they just be lobbing as many ...
Why is that? Because of his projection coming out of high school?
My expectations for Kling were solely based on what his coach, Jay Johnson, said about him. He literally called Kling, Dylan Crews 2.0 multiple times.
I bet it CJJ could go back to those comments he might take th...
He's gonna continue to use Milazzo as a defensive catcher that he puts in late in the game with a lead. He's not good enough at the plate to be used as anything more than that, especially against SEC pitching. Neal has his struggles too, but his ceiling is much higher.

You don't have Skenes and Crews to make up for the SS that can't help you offensively.
I'm not sure what you are talking about? Braswell won't mash homers, but he has been a bright spot at the plate. He is hitting way better then he did at S. Carolina.
And his defense is prett...

It's a weird time to make this post when he pitched his best game this season yesterday.
He went to long and then Anderson got hit also.
Who would you start on Sundays?...

Speaking of bats, I wonder why Travinsky used the No 2 pencil bat one game and didn't use it again?
He went back to his Cat X then thus weekend he tried an older Marucci bat. (It was a previous cat model)...
There are entirely too many 1 and 2 pitch outs lately. I have no concerns over the pitching.
Good analysis in your post but I see this as a very fine line CJJ is having to deal with.
Imo, after watching every single game, I think our batters are better when they are attacking ...

I'm sure Wanakas good on the bbq pitt, but he better do something to get the hitting going.
Pearson and Braswell have been nice surprises. Milam, Kling, and Neal need to get in the cage....
re: Kling and Neal will decide the offensive trajectory of this team

I've been rooting for Kling and hoping he can heat up. He's supposed to be one of the most talented guys on the team according to CJJ.
But man, he looks about as cold as a ball player can get at the plate. I'm starting to give up hope he will rebound and start hitting the ball....

I'll never forgot after game 2 last year when 1 of their 10's of trashy fans tried to get in my face after that game. Kinda like this OP.
The next day to actually win a championship was fabulous.
I hope we see Florida again in the postseason and can do it again....
re: Series against Florida

Just make sure Florida doesn't have binoculars to steal signs and things will be more even.
Plus there are two other games besides Thatchers. Let's get two wins and move on.
I hope Alex Box is packed and loud because it will make a big difference....
re: Who will be LSU's Sunday starter going forward?

I feel a lot different about last nights pitching after listening to CJJ's postgame.
He said Coleman was sick before the start and just ran out of juice. I'm not nervous about Coleman's starts if he was just sick last night. He will continue to get chances to start. (I assume Tuesday night game...

I wonder what was up with Coleman last night? Velo was down and there was zero control.
Was he nervous, injured, or just didn't have his stuff? Either way he won't be starting any on the weekend until he has a good Tuesday night game.
Jay has also shown a tendency to not stretch out young gu...
