The year Oklahoma won their last title (think it was 1999-2000ish) I had a supervisor at my job (huge OU fan, ftr) actually tell me that that Josh Heupel-led team would destroy the Cincinnati Bengals (back then, if you recall, Cincy was atrocious). The talent gap between the top tier College teams and the bottom of the NFL is even bigger than the talent gap between top 6A high school teams and Alabama. It's absolutely no contest. These discussions are about as stupid as they come, and really has no place on TD. How many people from any one college team would still be on an NFL roster after three years much less starting?? A hint, not many. So you want to put up 58 NFL players against a team that might end up with a handful of NFL players (not drafted, players)?
