Rowling is a principled, old school feminist who has remained staunch and unchanging in her views with the passage of time. The same can be said about people like Bill Maher (not the feminist part, but the "stick to your guns" aspect).
The Overton Window has just shifted so absurdly far to the left that these old school leftists now appear right of center.
I used to get really angry trying to figure out what we needed to do to shift that window back to the right, but solace only came when I accepted that there's nothing we can do and we just need to enjoy these periods of resistance while we still can. The globohomo can afford to play the long game. There will come a time when those of us with the spine to resist have died off or have dwindled so greatly in numbers that the overwhelming majority will be fine with putting us in camps.
On the subject of Tom Felton not "turning his back" on Rowling, a lot of that came from him playing such an insufferable twat (Draco Malfoy) on screen for so many years. It almost subconsciously drove him IRL to be more accepting and tolerant of people and the myriad opposing views outthere. Same thing happened to the kid who played Joffrey on GoT.
re: Remember when Trump met with tech including Apple?

I like it, but moving all the manufacturing of iPhones to India is only a decent step up from continuing to do it in China.
But I understand, big picture and whatnot. Anything that squeezes Chini's balls is a good thing for certain.
Mrs. Axe loves her damn Apple products but I'll never own any of them.

More people need to see that for what it is.
The illusion of choice, surrounded by a highly controlled environment. These exact same types of people don't keep landing in these positions from pure coincidence... especially when the geopolitical global trend is one of nonconformity and shattering the established normalcy.
They control everything and, if you're paying attention, you can see them flaunting it right to our faces.
re: Amazon caves!
Posted by TigerAxeOK on 4/29/25 at 11:26 am
Most people who buy from Amazon buy many of the same products regularly. It's not like the average person can't look at their order history or just use memory to see what products are increasing in price.
A lot of product prices are all over the damn place anyway and change frequently and drastically. I buy the 4-pack of Sawyer MINI water purification filters pretty frequently. Sometimes they're $120 but of you watch your cart you can find them for <$70 at the right time. That's about the best deal you can get anywhere on earth.

Iraq's Supreme Judicial Council announced that it has arrested a suspected ISIS member for his alleged connection to the New Year's Day attack on Bourbon Street that left 14 dead.
Iraq's National Center for International Judicial Cooperation said in a report that it arrested the suspected terrorist after the United States requested assistance in the investigation of the attack.
Surely I can't be the only one to be happy that Iraq helped us out on this one.

Also give me Saskatchewan, Yukon and a little corner of northeastern BC so we can connect continuously to AK. In return, I will give up Washington, Oregon and Minnesota.
A net win for literally everyone.

Why didn't they do the same during Bidenflation, posting a side by side current price next to what it was when Trump was in office?
I expect a fun answer.

Yeah, I'm disenfranchised with Rand at this point. For the most part he has always said a lot of things that I actually agree with but, when you look at the overall body of his accomplishments, it's basically been a bunch of grandstanding when he could have actually done something good- and then a bunch of support for the swamp when he had a golden opportunity to break them.
Look at the cast of characters in this very thread that are lining up to defend Rand, and that's all you need to know. Rand and the overwhelming majority of the Establishment GOPe are and have been very effective protectors of the Etatist Kleptocracy for decades.

No. Even my three very outspoken retarded liberal cousins on social media can't offer any alternative.
It's 100% Orange Man Bad and Musk Man Nazi but they cannot speak names who would do the job better because, deep down, they actually understand that their own party's favorably is in the toilet at 22-25% nationally. They're below 50% approval among their own constituency.
All they have is seething anger that catalyzes into ebullitions and outbursts of physical and verbal violence. But it has been absolutely hysterical to laugh right in their faces while they're amidst thermonuclear histrionics and mental meltdown. The next 3.5 years are going to be incredibly fun.

I actually know and am in frequent contact with several real farmers with medium and large scale operations.
Sorghum, soybeans, alfalfa, wheat, corn, onions, tree nuts, etc..
They're all saying it's pretty much business as usual and not anything they haven't already experienced in the last two decades.
My buddy's blackberry farm and apiary are producing incredibly right now and making him a handsome profit.

It seems to me looking in from the outside, that Casey became a greedy succubus and torpedoed Ron.
Dude was legitimately one of the more straight laced and conservative politicians of this era, but there was a strange shift when he decided to listen to the bad advice of others and throw his hat in for the 2024 Prez race. He hasn't been the same since then, even during his campaign.
It never felt organic. From the very beginning, it felt like a contrived and forced error. I like Ron and I hope this crap isn't true, but if it is he is cooked, and I wouldn't be surprised to see him take the brunt of everything while Casey goes shopping.

That's because most of those tariffs are paused and not in effect.

We have labeled the two voter IDs tied to WEC voter records ending in zero as “doubles,” a term devised to distinguish this phenomenon from the “modified duplicates” that Paquette previously found in the WEC voter database.
So by law of numbers, 10% of Wisconsin registered voters do not exist.
And I'm willing to bet my house that they overwhelmingly voted for Democrats. Nothing to see here Kash and Pam. Nothing at all.
This entire nation outside of Minnesota would be blood red if not for this fraud.

It was obviously a parody when the woman actually calmed down and shut her mouth for a moment, as opposed to a continuous inflection in both tone and volume leading to knocking the Trump hat off his head and physical assault before being forcefully restrained and removed from the aircraft with the loud cheers of passengers resonating in the background.
