Not aging well. Athletes who won medals at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, France have been taking to social media to show off the state of their hardware...and it's not great...

They mixed the medals with pieces of the Eiffel Tower. I'm guessing the resulting alloy was not stable. So while a cool idea - to send athletes home with a piece of a French icon, maybe they should have checked to make sure the process worked. I'm curious if only the bronze medals have failed.
