re: LSU's Redzone Offense

Yes I watch many other games. He is good at offensive play calling. He is also good at sabotage. He does not want to be an OC. When he was retired by Arkansas, everyone knew he was going to be named HC one day and Pittman will be fired.
I do not think it would be a good fit to have someone like that. He was also at A&M when Fisher got fired. He does not work well when he is not the HC.

frick no on Bobby P. You think anyone would hire him as an OC? The reason for the RZ issues, is play calling and execution both suck.
Inside the 5, Green should have the ball thrown to him when he is one on one in a jump ball situation. If he is double covered, someone else is open. Nuss on designs run this year. Run up the middle never works.

I dress normal. Shorts and polo shirt in summer. Jeans and long sleeve shirt in colder months or if going to a place that will be cold. I have TSA pre check so don't need to take off shoes. I wear comfortable slip on shoes.

There is a reason he is at Minnesota and not at other big time programs. Each year there is at least one big program in search of a coach. He has not been hired.
He is not meant for LSU. Same with Matt Campbell.

They were not coming before this broke lol. Whoever has that thought was delusional.

What do players have to do with the OP talking about coaches? Players will get money thru collectives. That won't change. Plus players who are committed to LSU want to play for LSU. If they only care about money, let them go play elsewhere bc their loyalty is not to school but who ever has the bigger bag of money. They will hop from school to school for the money.

No they wont lol. As long as LSU as resources in place and boosters willing to support the program, the new coach won't care what happened under the previous regime.
Nick Saban was correct 20+ years ago. LSU fans have "chicken little syndrome". The sky is falling. Doom and gloom.

My cousin has been extras in movies and TV shows. She was an extra in The Pelican Brief when they shot the scene by the RiverWalk. The director just told the crowd to dance like music is played. If you watch the scene, everyone is doing something different.
She was extra in a few episodes of NCIS New Orleans. Same thing. No music being played but people dancing. Do their own thing and different.

Should watch all the scenes in TV shows and movies where people are dancing to music being played. Only thing is no music is being played lol. Just people dancing and pretending to hear the music.

Best coach in the nation? Lol. Obviously you don't watch football.
re: BK does not HAVE to take a settlement

If anyone on this forum signed a contract for that much money and was fired, would you take a pay cut or want the full balance remaining? I am not budging and want my full balance to be paid.
BK should get his full amount owed to him. It is on LSU. Unless they have the proof to show cause in his firing to negate the buyout, they need to provide it. No one in their right mind is giving up $20+ million. Not happening.

re: Looking back, I think Chris Hilton has been the biggest disappointment
Posted by MasterKnight on 11/10/25 at 4:47 pm to tigersav
Nuss has not been productive but he has thrown to Hilton on deep passes. Problem is Hilton is not catching the ball. He dropped the ball against SC that was perfectly placed to him. Also DBs covering would get the PI and give up 15 yards instead of the huge gain. For some reason the coaching staff never had him in games as much. I know in the Clemson game he talked back to BK when he did not line up properly and LSU had to burn a TO. That may have had something to do as well.

Nuss needs to make better decisions. He is a 5th yr senior. He needs to recognize that his OL is horrible. He either needs to run when the pocket breaks down or throw the ball away. Not go back 20 yards and take a sack.
Also the screens don't work. Bc the WRs can't block. Just as bad as OL play is WR play is abysmal too. Hankton sucks. The WRs have no separation. Can't catch. And cant block. What the hell is he coaching them to do if they can't do the basic things a WR needs to do?

I think he still gets drafted. NFL scouts will evaluate him. He did well last year (negative was the turnovers) when he had NFL lineman blocking him and NFL talent at WR and TE positions catching the passes.
They will look to see if he is healthy. I think a QB minded coach ( McVey, Shanahan, Etc) will look into drafting him in the 4th round range. Someone they can coach and learn behind a veteran.

re: Nuss summed up in 1 play
Posted by MasterKnight on 11/9/25 at 10:21 am to DalenSA
The fact that some did not want to blame Nuss on that play is ridiculous. A 3 man rush and he runs INTO the pressure instead of stepping into the pocket or going to the right. A 5th year senior with no pocket awareness is absolutely mind blowing.

It was well done. I think the casting was spot on. It was a good mix of both Garfield and Guiteau storylines.

I watched the whole series (only 4 episodes). It was fantastic. I think there was a little dramatic effect added in some spots but it seemed to be historically accurate.
I thought both Macfadyen and Shannon did a superb job. Offerman was wonderful. Whigham and Whitford were a fantastic addition to the cast as well. Lot of things I learned about Garfield from this. I do enjoy a good historical show (movie/documentary/series) especially with a political aspect.
Episodes are not long with the exception of the last episode. Last episode is maybe 20 mins longer than the others.

LSU fans ( the vocal ones) hate every coach when first hired. Only love them when they win a championship is delivered. The vocal ones for this hire want either Saban, Kiffin, or Lanning. If not any of those, then the vocal ones express their opinions.
I don't think he would leave UL. It is his alma mater. Same with Key.

re: If Kiffin was staying with Ole Miss don't you think they would have worked out
Posted by MasterKnight on 11/7/25 at 5:55 pm to nicholastiger
Kiffin is not coming. No coach is going to make an announcement right now with 4 games left to play. Kiffin knows what he is doing. His agent is working behind the scenes to get the best deal for Kiffin. OM will pay a shite ton of money to keep Kiffin. Sexton is just working the other teams buffing prices.
