This seems like one of the first draft classes in awhile then Saints selected all players that played in a Power 5 conference. No player taken from a small school or FCS school.
Are you comparing the only time in the history of the CWS, a player (who was batting 9th and hit his first home run of the season) hitting a walk off home run to win the national championship to a player who is built for HR power hitting a walk off HR in a conference game during the regular season?

Holy shite I don't understand how some people who post on this board function in life.
Someone was trying to say that he could go back bc the NCAA allows players to get paid and not considered "amateur". That Shedeur could challenge the NCAA on this.

He can't go back to college. The date to withdraw from the draft passed. It would be the ultimate walk of shame for him too. Plus his best WR is gone. He won't have better stats than this year.

He did this to himself. Him and his father for being arrogant and thinking they are above the process.
I don't like pick at all. Would rather the Saints not draft a QB at all this year.

You should change your name to "SmallDick"bc you and your fellow Tenn fans shrivel up and disappear when your team loses. Blowing a 3 run lead in the bottom of the 9th must suck.

At what point will you realize you are a shitty poster? Certainly you must wake up and realize that you are. Or maybe you are just a miserable person in real life and think it is others. Something to ponder I guess.

I like the Banks pick as well. Would not have mind either of the Edge players from Ohio State. Picking a QB there was a head scratcher.
I am no fan of Sanders but if Sanders did not know where a team was drafting by the time he is interviewing with GMs, the GM or team exec should take the playbook away before answering that. I don't think that happened.

Have heard NFL scouts and personnel say that Sanders was very cocky and an aura of entitlement. He brushed off questions and took arrogant. Who knows if this will humble him at all. Probably at this point he is telling teams to not draft him and he will sign as a free agent to a team of his choice. Or hell he might go UFL and play next week for someone lol.

Regardless of race any QB selected there was a bad pick. Not like that QB is going to learn from someone. He will have to start. Too many positions the Saints needed before a QB. OL, DL, WR, CB all could have been filled.

If Saints go 5-12 or 6-11 and have a top 10 pick next year, will they pass on a QB and ride with Shough? I have said it before, this QB class is weak. No need for a QB in this class when most likely not much better than what they have. 3 years in a row drafting a QB. Sad.
He never drafted Al Woods in 2010 or Will Clapp in 2018?
I don't think it would as much Deion. He would be coaching Colorado in the fall the same time his son is playing. If he is worried about what is going on with his son while the season is going on, Colorado will have problems.

Shedeur is arrogant and all about himself. He does not back it up. He thinks he is entitled to be the starter bc of his last name. Deion never did him any favors growing up and teach him about humility. His arm is not good and his decision making is even worse.

First time watching sports? Weather delay means nothing to broadcast.
Serious question for the people who want a QB. Why? This draft class is one of the weakest QB classes. Why take a QB when the QB is not the answer to long term issue for the Saints? Draft a QB only to have him sit behind Rattler and Haener? Then draft the franchise QB next year? Makes no sense.

Draft players who can play and will add depth. If they have a top 10 pick next year, fine. They can get a QB in first round.
Why? He has always been about himself. The Saints need leaders. He is not one. There is a reason 32 teams passed on him in the 1st round. I think the Raiders take him but I hope he falls to the 3rd round and learns some humility.
Same thing I am thinking. They have needs everywhere and taking Jeanty at 5 would seem not smart.

Rodgers is not coming to NO. Who would be throw the ball to? The Saints do not need his distraction in the locker room. They need leaders. Wentz no thank you. Teddy 2 gloves? Nope. He is better off being a high school coach now.

This may not be classified as a rebuild but it is. Get younger and build this thing like Payton did nearly 20 years ago. Next year will be the 20th anniversary of the first draft that Payton had that started the Saints on a new path. Let's hope this coaching staff can do the same.

What is the purpose of bringing in a bridge QB to start for one year? This team is not making a SB run next season. Might as well use the players that they have and just ride the season. Moore will see what he has and then next year at this time can evaluate the team needs and the QB class will be better than this year.
I watched the ABC broadcast with the College GameDay crew minus McAfee. Nick Saban and Herbstreit will give the best analysis since they actually watch the college games.

I stopped watching Kiper and ESPN broadcast years ago when he would disagree with the picks only for that player to be better than he had projected. Also he said Jimmy Clausen would be a stud franchise QB and staked his reputation on it. Said he would retire if Clausen is not successful.
If anyone uses Mel Kiper as their go to draft analysis, they need to have a CAT scan to detect any brain injuries. He really thinks he knows football talent when he has missed way more than hit. He really needs to retire.

I also think ESPN and NFL Network are afraid of Deion. I think they don't want to go negative on his son for fear of what he will do or not allow. Bc even watching the draft recap shows, they all Shedeur will have that chip and he won't have to be the "man" but will be better off than being a first round pick. No one is saying how his ego is the reason he was not selected but things outside of his control were.
