Paul Finebaum Is Hearing SEC Is Very Frustrated With Player Behavior
Dale Zanine-USA TODAY Sports
On Wednesday’s edition of Get Up, ESPN’s Paul Finebaum revealed that some people in the SEC are getting fed up with player behavior...
quote:

“It’s a mess. There’s a lot of frustration within the SEC about player behavior,” Finebaum said, via HawgSports.com. “At this point in the season — we’re in mid-November — players are getting tired of following protocols. Halloween was a week and a half ago and some think that may have been the super-spreader.”

Kids will be kids You're not gonna completely control 18-23 year olds consistently. Sorry

The NFL is dealing with it as well, and their players are adults with jobs and paychecks. The SEC officials are hypocrites, and worried about their own paychecks by lashing out at college kids.

They are freaking kids and at no risk for this weak arse virus.

if they are not at risk, then they would not have gotten it right? I agree with the sentiment - but it is more than just the players - the players get it, and spread it - which gets coaches, or family members sick - what if one of them has an at risk person in their household? not everyone with an underlying condition should get infected because kids could not show some restraint.

Pawl saying shite like he's the only one that thought of it. Libs hate football and anything to do with masculinity. This is an opportunity the Libs were not going waste. On the other hand, these "kids" entered into a contract and need to be held accountable, coaches too.

What does the current student-athlete death toll stand at?

Big fat zero. Hospitalizations zero. Risk essentially zero.

If you can't stop underage drinking, drugs, sex, etc in the college age student, why do they think these kids will take China Flu seriously? It will have less impact on their lives than those things I just listed. And Black n Gold nailed it: what is the death toll for college kids?

What's the number you would like to see? 10 athletes dead? 20 athletes dead? How do you think this argument goes? Ncaa has reported 80 deaths, mostly employees. So some people working with said athletes are dying, but they obviously don't count.

Jay, what number do YOU want to see before we go about our lives? Every death is tragic. How about the all of the problems these lock downs are causing on mental health, substance abuse, poor learning environment, lost businesses, etc.? Do their lives not matter?

SEC might as well be pissed that college kids are not setting up retirement plans and effectively saving

People are getting tired of have their everyday lives stripped from them, who would have thunk it??? People have died from Covid, it's true and yes it sucks, but far far more people have "survived" it at a 99.6% clip. It's time to open everything back up.

People like you are the biggest pussies, unwilling to make sacrifices for the greater good. You expect front line people like physicians, nurses to bare all the burden for dealing with a deadly virus.. It didn’t have to be this way but we had a giant, selfish asswipe, cowardly vagina as POTUS aided by his dumbass, sycophantic cultists. So F you!

Just passed 150k daily cases, ICUs at and over capacity, health care workers putting their lives and families at risk, virus supposed to be magically gone by Easter, then by the summer, then after the election, but only getting worse. Y'all have never watched someone's lungs turn into steel wool over the course of 10 days. Lockdowns aren't the answer, but doing your patriotic duty and wearing a mask is. Soon to be ex-POTUS said we are fighting a war, and he was right. We rationed in WW2 to help the war effort, and wearing a mask is how we help the cause today. Being contentious about your fellow man isn't political, it's being a good human being. It's ok to have disagreements but join in a relatively painless common cause for the greater good.
