I stopped watching that shite years ago. Every other segment is some sob story.

You aren't kidding. I don't want to hear about the heartwarming/heartbreaking life story of some player/coach/family member on Saturday morning. I want game break downs. I want predictions. I want stats. I want some local flavor. But please - no cancer/orphan/devastating life stories.

Agreed…though I still watch, if I am not attending a game. I’d prefer one hour of talk about the actual game(s) vs three or four hours of depressing crap.

I must admit, I am tired of the "Lifetime" stories, too. Can't watch the show any longer, and haven't in years.

I mean let this go ESPN, his presence has been dead for like 10 years now

Don't really care but FSU should have been his last show. Not only is it his alma mater but the very first College Gameday on campus was FSU-Notre Dame in 1993, albeit in South Bend, it would have been nice to see his first and last involving his school.

He's been the face of College Gameday for years. People tuned in for his mascot picks. He deserves to go out on his own terms. Hope he lives several more years.

He's interesting, but it's time to move on. Good luck to a long retirement if it works out.

I've spent many Saturday mornings with that man since I was about 19 years old.

Dude does a good job, but at 89 he should be enjoying the fruits of his labor with his wife and family. He married old girl 69 years ago.

Gameday isnt Gameday without Lee

That's going to be an emotional show for those guys, hope his health holds up enough for him to make the trip.

Too bad FSU is garbage. Would have been cool to have his final show there.

God bless the man. He made many a Saturday mornings more enjoyable.

I think that it’s fitting that he is finishing where he started.
