Rumors around Pickens, JTD, etc.

Seen the last 2 or two on Rivals and other places that are completely rumors and not at all based in fact but figured I could add to all of our misery.
Rumor is Pickens is off the team. Saw another thread that JTD is not expected to stay in Athens.
Also seen, this time seems to be supported by Radi and others, that JT not playing may be less health and more ball security. Which makes no sense considering the ball security with the 2 QBs weve seen thus far.
Last thing was we might see 1 or 2 QBs hit the portal soon. Mathis was mentioned several times but apparently Beck & his pops are pissed at the current situation.
Again, nothing of substance but figured I'd share to continue to spread rumors and discontent.

Transfer portal has killed CFB. I don't know how you keep quality backups when they can just up and leave if they don't get what they want.

Did you know JT Daniels was the number 3 ranked QB in the 2018 class behind Lawrence and Fields?
I refuse to belive that he cannot produce more than Dwan or Bennett. Think about this, Kirby has had two of the top 3 QB recruits in the 2018 class, and there's a good chance neither will ever start a game for UGA. Our head coach is digging his grave.
If this report is true, and that's a big if, it is truly hopeless for Kirby.

Well, when you start vastly inferior QBs over superior ones, they're going to leave. Sadly, this is what's going to happen with Daniels I fear. No way he can be worse than Bennett or Dwan.

It makes no sense about JT. Im buying the other rumor about not medically being cleared by his family doctor.
The Pickens rumor I can buy, just look at his Twitter. His tweets are protected and in his profile there is no mention and his profile pic isn't him in his UGA uniform, it's in his UA All American uniform.
I don't understand Beck being unhappy, he could have the reins next year.

The wheels began to slowly come off when Fields was given no real shot and left and then Fromm made an illogical decision to leave early after last year and then Newman oddly departed after so much hype. Now we have a former 5 star who was good enough to start at USC yet strangely can get no playing time...not even ahead of the atrociously bad Dwan Mathis.
So as of now, we have the mediocre former walk-on Bennett and I can only hope that Vandagriff is a "real deal" QB who comes in during spring and starts by fall 2021...maybe with Beck in the mix.
If it's Bennett's show in the fall, Kirby will have completely failed to manage the quarterback roster.

Not buying the JTD reasoning. I don’t think he was ever supposed to be the guy in 2020. Maybe it’s got to do with his knee and ball security combo but I refuse to believe we can’t get a 5 star rated QB who has already played at a high level to play better than the travesty we were made to watch Saturday.

What sucks is we probably “won” the portal sweepstakes and had our pick of Portal QBs this year. The one we chose road a scapegoat to sit out a year and secure what NFL prospectus he has. The other ... well, throw something at the wall.

Do you really trust Kirby to make this call at QB?
Even if you believe he handled the Fromm/Fields deal correctly (which I do not), the current state of the QB room calls his or his staff’s competence to judge a QB’s ability into serious question.
