No it’s nothing I’m sure. Apparently a lot of older guys such as Swift are still on there. Justin Fields was at practice at Ohio St per Dash.

It would be weird as hell if Fields could somehow manage to be the only player from the B1G to play this season. People in Ohio and Michigan would be even madder than they already are.

The few times that I watched USC with Daniels I was puzzled, then USC lost. I know there's good talent on the roster. Maybe it is Daniels.

Mater Dei overwhelmed their competition with talent, particularly on the offensive line. Daniels was used to having all day to throw. That was a major adjustment for him at USC as their line couldn't block anyone.

Also, he was only 17 as a true freshman. He's a very young player.

Some kids on the team got the covids. Agents using scare tactics to lock kids down.

PS Spent the last 3 months fishing In Costa Rica with poor internet reception. I said I was gonna isolate and that I was too old to do coke and party with Columbian whores. Turns out I was wrong. Gloriously wrong. Now I come back to this shitshow of a Country. This season is gonna suck. Somehow, We will make it to the championship and then 1/2 the team will get the Covids. Did anyone die here?

Not really. He graduated HS early, but he was still technically 18. Was very old for his grade.

Until then the players will do whatever it takes to go to the NFL and make money to make their lives more comfortable and their families lives more comfortable and the school will do what is necessary to win games.

Or engage in some armed robbery because they worry so much about protecting that NFL career.

To be fair, you seem like one who is puzzled easily. Just based solely on your posts on this board.

Some interesting comments from Rusty on his podcast... (it was recorded before Newman opted out)

Said there was legitimate QB battle going on.. Newman and JTD were neck and neck with JTD only being around 85% healthy.

Also said he expected Mathis to get more reps with the 1s this week. Wonder if Newman didn’t like the idea of a 3rd QB joining the battle and just got out before he potentially lost it. Could explain the sudden decision to opt out.

FTR they all said Newman if they had to pick the starter but there was a legit qb battle going on
