Not sure why because he needs more good game tape to assure himself of being a high draft pick. As of now, he's QB4 at best in the draft next year.

He was a 3 star that played at Wake Forrest for a reason. Daniels is a 5 star that played in Califonia and went to USC (much better). It's not hard to figure out what's going on.

Nothing against Daniels. If he wins the job I’ll be totally cool with it. But if Mathis wins the job and plays well after what he’s been through it’s one of the stories of the year.

Is Daniels fully recovered from his knee injury? Last I heard, he wasn't cleared to play.

Heard Daniels was close to being cleared so I would say he will be a go.

Yes, It'll basically come down to Dwan's athleticism and upside vs Daniels' experience and likely better pure passing ability, and of course their ability to fully command the playbook and huddle

I was hoping for Newman. Daniels worries me. His arm looks no stronger than Jakes and while he is more athletic than Jake, he is also much more likely to throw the ball into trouble.
I’m concerned we just traded Jake for more athletic, dumber Jake.

Lots of great NFL QBs come from small programs. Some kids are just late bloomers. North Dakota State is about to have their second first round QB taken in 5 years.

I honestly think Jake would have looked a lot better in an offense like what we're about to run. JMHO
