@TomPelissero
Among the incidents that led to the #Dolphins waiving OT Isaiah Wilson, per sources:
- Hours late for his physical
- Late for his onboarding process
- Didn't show up for voluntary workouts he had committed to Thursday and Friday
Team tried to support him, but now moving on.

He got that first round money and did not give two fricks about anything after that. He will be broke within two years. Sad to see.

I was wrong. Thought with a little support and people in his ear, he would turn it around. This is simple shite that he had to do and couldn’t do it. No one to blame but himself here. Sad to see, but no longer feel bad for him.

He will have to go broke and hit bottom before he can grow up. Hope he survives it, not all do.

He definitely has some severe mental health issues I hope he gets to help he needs sooner rather than later.

Seems to me that his issues are more immaturity/impulse control related than anything else.

Probably in jail by then too.

Possibly. I might have pulled this shite when I was 12 years old cutting neighbors laws. Anyone with half a brain would know certain things are expected when they're a first round NFL draft choice.

Seems a bit more complicated than that. Dude is a trainwreck.

Among some people impulse control is a HUGE issue. Lack of it can be a detriment to almost living a successful life, for some people.

It's all one in the same and can be tied to mental illness and usually substance abuse.
Good news is that he's young, still has his life ahead of em and mental illness doesn't have the stigma once associated with it.He just has to take the first steps and deal with reality.

How much cash did he actually get from NFL teams?

I believe $7 million was his signing bonus and thats in a state w/out income tax but not sure if its deferred.

Bernard Williams 2.0
Bernard was 14th pick overall and quickly wasted all that potential with poor decisions. Many years later a mature version of Williams was admitting to just what he had thrown away and trying to make a come back in one of the off brand leagues.
Too bad a conversation b/w Bernard and Isaiah could not be arranged in time.

Then he might just not give a frick. He never has to work again if he doesn’t want to...

He'll blow through that within 3 to 4 years.
He obviously lacks any sense of what the amount means.

Haha yes he most definitely does. Let’s not act like he’s likely to have been wisely investing his money over the past year.
