UK seems winnable when you look at their losses and losses at home. Missouri beat them at Rupp.
Agreed but can the SEC step up in bowl games and win please? Seems every year lately we beat our chest about how difficult the SEC is then most lay an egg in whatever bowl game an SEC team is in.
Kirby's ability to develop players for the NFL can overcome a lot of that (I hope)

We've got about 1/8" layer out here in Bogart, GA just West of Athens.
IU also showed us how a ton of slightly less talented BUT much more experienced rosters can overcome highly talented but much less experienced opposition. Add elite discipline in execution (rarely make mistakes) and you get an IU type outcome.

Yep...putz. speaks volumes
They just said about 60/40 Indiana majority in yhe stands. Being in Miami, that is criminal.

BS. Strength of schedule still matters. If OM wins out our SOS looks better and helps us next season. SEC schedules need to be perceived as the hardest by committees when considering CFP. We don't need to be perceived as frauds because of an SEC bias if OM gets boat raced in the next game or the natty. So pardon me if I'd like to see another SEC team win the natty.

I like the IU story and they've been impressive. I don't gamble either so while it would appear IU is odds on favorite to win it all right now, I'm not rooting for them.

Ole Miss because SEC. Need to take the natty away from the Big 10 and reassert SEC dominance.

No defense on the country could have stopped that guy last night

Chambliss had to have had an out of body experience last night. He was chanelling Joe Burrow LSU v UGA 2019+Mahomes. He literally couldn't miss. That blind shot to the back of the end zone like a under the rim pick and roll was insane.

Interesting not compelling. Recruits v portal doesn't matter when you have a player that goes God mode channeling Joe Burrow circa 2019 vs UGA. It was as if Chambliss was literally possessed for a stretch. That blind ball in the back of the end zone when the WR wasn't there only to have him pivot like a move under the rim and the ball was on him was insane. His scramble 20 yards behind the LOS only to convert the 1st down? The football gods had spoken at that point. I thought we still had a chance to win it but dayum. That was an inspired performance by Trinidad.

Right...Of all the match ups, OM v UGA is probably the most problematic because of the distraction inside the OM program right now.
Agreed. Just said the same thing to my son-in-law. Rose Bowl will be telling. Perhaps some "ball-knowers", to borrow from Brooks Austin, could do a 2024/2025 bye week analysis. So far it's an 0 - 7 record for bye teams.
So far not looking good for the bye teams. Let's hope Kirby can break this trend!!!!
