It’s a little redundant but do we still feel good about June lol.
It is kind of crazy. The board said here (and it checks out so far) that we are in pursuit of guys who aren’t pre Madonna, high dollar hs kids who are unproven. Mostly guys who have their head on straight, will stay in the program and get made into something and potentially we get aggressive portal time moving forward on established players.

Right now it’s the story we sort of need because we in the HS landscape are getting worked over which I can’t understand. At least at this level. Some of the numbers floating out there on close rates, blue chips hosted much less closed, and targets are so shocking you would think this is one of your buddies playing NCAA and building a program up like Kennesaw.

Again we have all the track record in the world, but it’s as if we have fallen off a cliff in recruiting cache. The coaching, development, winning, nfl pitches don’t seem to be landing like they once did.
Anything positive on the horizon for us? I saw we missed on Gilbert to Auburn and June is our “hot time”

I know we pulled in a few guys not long ago, but it still feels a little stagnant.

I believe the safety aparcio Bailey announces the 27th and the 5* receiver is down to us Clemson and A&M the 28th

But still seems a little quiet. That may just be new recruiting though if you don’t “add to cart” immediately though. Tough to say
Saw this

Georgia is set to host only nine official visitors over the next month who are ranked among the nation’s Top 100 recruits. It will host five of those prospects this weekend. That stat best illustrates that times are changing for the program in the NIL and rev share era. Did the Dawgs ever sign all the 5-stars? No. Did they get the ones they really liked on campus? Yes.
It really is true. Even just the sheer lack of buzz around us is crazy. And again I trust our talent evaluation but I also wonder if we are just looking for bargains. There hasn’t been rumor of even 4 stars and us in a while. It’s shocking how it feels from a time where we had everyone to now I don’t even know what we target. The top kickers still it seems
I wonder how much it cost to reel in a *** these days.
??
Because you know, VA tech has a strong pitch
I won’t lie. I sort of thought the paying, portal, etc was going to have been corralled a little bit by now. I think Kirby originally did too and that his system would outlast this phase of cfb but I wonder if he ever considers the hard pivot. Assuming we even could open it up a little more. It’s definitely not good business or sustainable though

This de committed has been expected for some time.

Totally get it but it’s a long time to have found a defensive strategy on this too.

Take Kemon out now and the wheels are off and we are falling off a cliff recruiting wise.

Lots of *** people leveraging us too. We have become a chip more than a destination
Can someone post something positive in here on the recruiting trail? Stoked about dollar but literally the amount of swings and misses versus wins in recruiting is starting to feel absurd.

Target Cbs to ucla and va tech. Dl and rb to Florida. 3 star wrs decommitting. Lsu keeps unloading the hopper and adding stud after stud.

I’m at peace with the new world recruiting and not being number 1, but it really does feel like we are a great side chick to everyone’s main as an option right now.

Someone hit me with me a little weekend optimism haha.

Damn that’s a rough graphic
Now that we are a few days into the portal. Do we think silence works for or against us more? We have always been a little tight lipped but seeing as a wave of the big fish are gone and we have about 7 spots to fill. Do we have any inclination on how this may be going for us?
We desperately need a third quality starter

Do we not bunt? I don't watch every game but two innings in a row we could have moved a runner to 3rd with nobody out and we were swinging away. Just seems like some fundamental baseball would have given us the lead.

I was thinking this too. And it’s here again in the 8th. Please don’t neglect this again dawgs..
