Coming from liberals who still have not stopped reeeeing about Trump.

I'll take that as a compliment. And you live in Albany according to your profile. That's punishment enough.

The real question is: What do we do about the Colonel for KFC? So surprised they haven’t jumped on that.

Edit: Considering 72% of their employees are minorities and 92% of their corporate is white. EXCITING TIMES!!!!!

Crime creates a lot of poverty. Businesses in areas of high crime face higher rates of shoplifting which cause higher prices for everyone there. Some insurance policies don't cover "domestic violence." That means when your store gets burned down, the owner eats it. If the business is located where "domestic violence" has a much higher rate of happening, even if you can buy insurance it will cost more. The net result of this is businesses stay away, jobs aren't there.

If poverty caused crime the rural South almost anytime in the last 150 years would be the most crime-prone place in the country, but it is not.

To be fair, poor and undereducated white people living in the trailer parks of the rural areas in the South suffer from many of the same issues that inner-city minorities do. Perpetual victimhood seems to be the most constant personality trait of those folks as well.

If you think life is fricking you, look in the mirror...there’s a good chance you are holding the instrument of your unwanted fornication.

Thanks for the link.

I don't mind waiting for information to come out that will either convict or acquit the 3 men.

As for the daughter, I don't doubt that her dad and brother showed good will to her friends. That is what a good dad or brother would do. It doesn't necessarily equal their behavior away from her. I'm willing to be patient to wait this out and see it through. If the GBI investigator is lying to a court, he will probably be found out (video evidence is referenced in his testimony. Those are often bad things to lie about in front of a judge)

And btw sonny, full disclosure, this is the same daughter that caused all hell to break loose posting a pic of Arbery's dead body on IG several weeks ago. And her excuse was weird as frick. Something to the tune of "I'm a huge crime CSI buff and just found it interesting". Im paraphrasing but thats pretty close

So again, im firmly in the "wait till all the info is out" camp too

Your racist commander in chief is the most divisive president in history, and the biggest abuser of identity politics, even if both sides are guilty. If you can't understand why people are upset that the police murdered an unarmed, handcuffed black man in the streets, and this being a far too common occurence, then I don't know what to tell you. I realize almost all of you here worship at the feet of Donald Trump and he can do no wrong, so anything I say won't matter, and I'll be called every name in the book. So be it. This country is already divided, in how blacks and whites experience life and in the incredible inequality between the elites and everyone else. Unless things change, this country is f**ked.

Donald Trump isn’t divisive, he’s the result of an already divided nation created by Barack Obama. You can’t present any real evidence to prove Trump is divisive or racist. All you have is tv told you so.

Why are so many of our top military leaders accusing Trump of trying to divide the nation? Everyone knows that Trump is divisive. Denying the obvious reality is dishonest.

The frick are you babbling about. 50% of this country would cheer for North Korea if trump engaged them in conflict. When he had the economy on fire and checking off his campaign promises like a man possessed they wanted him disgraced and removed from office for a bullshite joke of a reason. And tried to convince the country he was shredding the constitution. Now he's supposed to coddle these unwashed assholes??

I presume that you define Trump's being divisive as his existing. He was not divisive when he was thought of as a NY democrat. He was not divisive as a "Hollywood celebrity" on the apprentice. But he runs for president as a republican and his very birth and existence is deemed divisive (the narrative or Russia, Ukraine, campaign finance, and now race. The media never quits).

I absolutely agree that Trump is not a rhetorical healer. I absolutely agree that Trump is not a voice of calm when it comes to race relations. But do you think the media would let him if he honestly tried? I think he was quiet for the first 2 days because there wasn't anything that he could say which wouldn't be twisted as insensitive.

Trump's claim that "MAGA loves black people" is both a lie and a tacit admission that MAGA doesn't include black people. With Trump everything is always us vs them.

Saying that some neo-Nazis are "very fine people."

Saying that Jews who don't vote for Republicans are "disloyal."

Saying that he doesn't want immigrants from Haiti, but instead wants immigrants from Norway.

Retweeting someone who said "the only good Democrat is a dead Democrat."

Banning all non-citizen/resident Muslims from traveling to the United States.

Calling Mexicans rapists.

Telling Rep. Ayanna Presley to "go back to her country."

Saying that the judge presiding over the Trump University lawsuit must recuse himself because he is a Latino.

Saying "what you are seeing and reading is not what's happening."

Telling our allies to go frick themselves while he licks and sucks on Xi, Putin, Kim, Erdogan, and the Taliban's balls.

But then again, you probably agree with every single one of these items and don't see them as divisive to begin with.

And if we're going to start letting racists kill this board, people will surely go find some virulently racist, black nationalist, or violent content to drop on a daily basis irrespective of whether they support it.

I've only been coming here a 4-5 years (posting for a couple), but for me this has always been a place for folks to peacefully coexist as family and share a love for UGA football. That has real value - enough to be protected.

How hard is it to make an alter and post inflammatory BS? Any and everyone can do that. Allowing this to devolve isn't how you get homogeneity of thought and background. It's how you torpedo a board.

Thank you for your service, sir. You have now ended racism in America

Dude, you have to read this to yourself out loud. In what other walk of life is this a logical way to evaluate anyone?

Josh is an a-hole to customers. It's hard to please these people, though. They wouldn't appreciate it even if he was polite (aka did his job). Josh gets a pass!

Coach Joe widens divisions between his players and now the team is ripping itself apart and can't function, but those kids would probably still hate each other even if he tried to unify them (aka did his job). Coach Joe gets a pass!

Ms. Robinson spends half of class watching television or publicly airing her feuds with other teachers. She doesn't know the lesson plans, and grades students almost exclusively by how they talk about her. Honestly, though, those children don't really care about learning so they wouldn't appreciate it if she tried. She gets a pass!

This one is not on the media. It just isn't.

Know why even the most fiery presidents almost exclusively used muted language when it came to contentious issues? Because peace and harmony are good for the country. Treating the office with respect prompts others around the world to treat the nation with respect. Go find the most racist president in our history and check out his language in public - especially the words he wrote. Almost all of it is calm, erudite, planned out, and unifying.

The President of a corporation or a country can not talk like the average Joe. You lose that right because it's counter productive, and the country is more important than one man's whims or ego.

Is it too much to ask that we judge the President of the United States of America by at least the standard we have for the 16 year old kid at the drive through? Don't publicly air out your feuds. Don't use this job to settle scores. Behave with respect and dignity.

It's one thing to slip up a couple of times, but this guy is incapable of finding a frick to give about anything but himself and his poll numbers even with literal disease, destitution, and division everywhere.

Trump is vain and thin skinned but Biden is corrupt and acts like he has dementia and will sell us out to the Chinese. So everybody has to make their choice.
