An old business man I knew had a saying - never put your meat where you make your bread.

To say that careers have been ruined over stray p*ssy is putting it mildly.

Just say that Auburn does dismiss him with cause, they better have more evidence than rumors. They would be opening themselves up for a huge lawsuit otherwise.

In the words of the late, great George Harrison, " My Sweet Lord!"

I'd get fired over that. Holy frick!

Harsin gets paid millions, so hes fair game. But, what if the whole affair thing is a made up lie?

The internet was a mistake. So many creepazoids with no conscience

Don't know exactly what is happening on the plains for certainty, except ....

They are literally destroying themselves.

You just hate to see it.

Sounds like things have deteriorated across the board in their football program. Exciting stuff to be sure.

The way things spiral now and everybody piles on based on rumors alone is actually pretty scary.

I too can be guilty at times.

Nobody is really safe anymore. I know all about this girl who has been drug across the coals but have no idea of anything actually happened.

The only thing factually known is he gave her a job and believed in her enough to bring her with him.

We did have our AD driving around with a skank and her pantries in his lap. Then the guy that filled in for him ended up having an affair with a newly engaged staffer. It happens.

We won’t even go into the Dooley wide rumors. Imagine if that was today.

Beyond the affair allegations,we do know he's been publicly accused of being abusive to players and coaches and extremely difficult to work for.Its the main reason he's on the hot seat for now.

Love to see the disaster on the Plains. It's a 100% hit job by the boosters. No one has any idea if the alleged affair with the assistant is true, but looking at Harsin's family, they make the Kardashians look normal. Every woman in the family has had so much plastic surgery they look ghoulish to even include the SIL. Vanity, its the downfall of many, and again, couldn't happen to a better institution.

Auburn has had so much turmoil since the Pat Dye days it's amazing they have staid as relevant as they have. They had the Eric Ramsey controversy; then the rumors and the quick departure of Bowden. Then they had the Petrino secret flight. The Cam pay for play scandal. Top on the FBI investigation of the basketball program. Now this. It's really unfortunate for him if these rumors are untrue but either way Harsin just didn't seem to fit in with the SEC.

Really?

Im not sure that word should be used for his behavior. He isnt any more abusive than members of the dawgrant were to our coaches and players.

Show me a coach who doesn't "abuse" players and coaches and I'll show you a coach with a losing record. Yelling and cursing, and an occasional helmet slap is not abuse.
A little player abuse from Richt and we might have had an NC or two when he was here.

Coaches by their nature are psychopaths, they have to be to run a circus of 18 to 22 yos.

There's an art to doing it though. Of which Kirby Smart is the master.

I don't believe you've followed the Harsin complaints that closely though.

Didn't hear any news today. Leads me to think the affair story was made up. I'm sure Auburn doesn't want to pay the 18 million buyout.

Harsin is going to have a gun in his mouth before this is all over.

Any change now puts them two years behind and risks more portal players.

On the other hand, the portal has the ability to absorb changes like this.

Buyer’s remorse is what it will look like.

Honestly, I don’t give much credit to the cheering. It’s just too obvious.

The more I read about this the more it seems his recruiting or rather his lack of recruiting really got the Powers-that-be riled up in a big way.

Auburn is always hiring and firing coaches every few years after Pat Dye. Hard to believe but Pat Dye has been gone from there right at thirty years.

I think it is quickly becoming known as a coach's graveyard.

Not even close to what's going on.
There's a reason they've lost multiple coaches (including both coordinators) and 20 players are in the portable.
