In response to Dawgfan - hypothetically if they fire Crean I have no idea who they bring in. I think we all had really high hopes for Crean. I would think we would try to go with a young coach from a mid-major. He would need some inroads to the AAU and be a good recruiter. All the guys transferring last year was puzzling and raised a lot of red flags for me.

Count me out on this approach.
The only times UGA has been successful in basketball is when they've hired "well established" coaches that had been successful at prior jobs. Hugh, Tubby, and Harrick.
I think Crean could/would be in that group as well, it just hasn't worked out.

If Crean can figure how to leverage NIL with our recruiting, he can turn things around. At least some of the money is above the table in Lexington and they are most certainly taking advantage of it. If Crean can’t do it, the next guy is gonna have to.

We lost by 9. It wasn't pretty. At the same time, I wouldn't worry a TON. Jabri Abdur-Rahim scored 12 points in the first 7 minutes. He seems to be our best player. However, he only played 20 minutes, and Crean made sure everyone al 15 players to play at least 5 minutes.
Meanwhile, Charlotte went full tryhard and their all-conference player played 38/40 minutes.

Exhibitions don’t ever worry me.

Notes:
Kario Oquendo is super athletic. Might be our best player. Think Jordan Harris with a better shot.
Need to shoot better. Troubling that guys who are 40% from 3 throughout their career shot 22% against a D2 team
Defense seems more physical. Obviously it was Morehouse but we seem to have a better gameplan than last year. Aaron Cook is very good on the ball.
Bridges has ball skills around the rim that we’ve been missing for a while.
Jabri needs to learn how to not get called for so many offensive fouls.
