We're done mostly. Waiting on Carter and Green on NSD. I personally like the two RBs and Brown, but that's just me.

Class is small but packs a punch, so to speak. Not really any apparent dead weight

I like Park a lot. I really don't care what QBs do in all-star games. Even so he showed a live arm and some athleticism.

He'll make mistakes, but he committed to the perfect staff who will work with him to take care of it. Very good pick up for UGA, imo.

Just my .02

I watched him live twice this season. Trust me, he has all of tools to be a highly productive QB. We're lucky to have him. All-Star games are worthless for offensive players

I am not up to snuff on Wesley Green. Why is he believed to be leaning towards South Carolina over Georgia?

He's not thought to be leaning that way

Most likely due to the fact that he was once a USC commitment, and despite de-committing still named USC as one of his leaders. DC Ward and DB coach Brown had established a solid relationship with Green before he de-committed, so the thought process here is that relationship keeps USC in good standing...

Sounds pretty accurate. I think a lot of UGA folks are nervous about this one, and should be.

He said he is at 6'6 300 right now and he will be taking a redshirt his sophomore year so he has 3 full years of eligibility at UGA

It's still about 50/50ish with where Green is going.

I think things that work out in USC's favor are:

He already was committed at one point.
He came to our game vs clem5on.
Coach Ward saw him twice in Dec.
USC gets his last OV in January (Jan 17th.)

IMO, he re-commits to USC, but we'll see what happens.

Christian Miller has been going back & forth on whether or not to visit UGA in a couple weeks

Looks like he will visit UGA right now

ETA: He was named to Sporting News AA 1st Team. Here's his write up:

The only Mr. Football finalist from the defensive side of the ball, Miller made 188 tackles and 24 sacks.

He's a stud. It sounds to me like his mom wants him closer to home and is pushing Georgia for that reason. It's pretty clear that his dad wants him at Bama IMO. We'll see how it shakes out, but I'm not getting my hopes up

His OV did a lot to help Bama out with Mom

For at least a month he's said UGA is the ONLY team still after him after he committed to Bama, so seems (or at least I hope after we lost one of our best LB prospects and an EE Zach Whitley to UCLA) like he is giving UGA coaches a visit out of respect, still might not happen but right now seems likely. He's been going back and forth on whether to visit UGA or not.

Yeah like I said I'm not getting my hopes up, but stranger things have happened. The only thing that could give me more hope is if there's a defensive staff shakeup at Bama where Rumph and/or Kirby leave

If Kirby leaves he would likely take Scott Cochran (S&C Coach) with him & that would be terribly bad especially if it happened BEFORE NSD

Only school I think that might be a threat is Louisville & seems like they want someone with HC experience

Rumph wouldn't be too bad I don't think (rumored interest on both sides with USCw) only because there's floating rumors of hiring Orgeron QUICKLY if that happens & Rumph's recruiting & coaching has left a little to be desired IMHO

Sup Bucc?

What are the odds Kirby ever actually becomes a HC anywhere? Dude seems like he is Bama job or bust.
