I haven't seen anything. Why do you ask?

So David Sharpe is announcing at noon tomorrow. Florida, Auburn, Georgia, Tennessee & LSU. Says he wants to play basketball, too. Doesn't that eliminate us?

Anybody know of our chance with 5 star Christian Miller? Will he flip?
Posted on 11/20/13 at 3:48 pm to VoxDawg
We aren't taking Sharpe. Rumblings that his dad a$ked a few staffs the wrong question, as well as the basketball thing. Regardless of whether that stuff's true or not, it's not UGA.
I also just read that he cancelled the announcement at his school tomorrow so maybe UF joined us and FSU in backing away.

That makes perfect sense for this staff.....we don't need any high quality defensive players. I think this sht about backing away from a player is an excuse our coaches use when they have been outrecruited on a player. Weird how they back away from the 4 and 5 star guys and somehow only want the 3 star players......guess they are just smarter than the other schools..

I think DGD was being sarcastic

RE: McMillan- I'd rather him go to Oh st to keep him out of the hands of the competition, since we can't have him. I don't see it as a great loss though, we are stacked at linebacker for the next 2 years.
With Gaillard, Russell, and Keyon Brown coming in at front 7 positions, losing only Smith as a starter after this season, I think we are OK.
We need to stack them up next year though.
That's my uneducated opinion about Raekwon's dismissal of our scholarship offer.

I think I want Malone more than anybody left of the remaining targets. The dude will be a stud and a future first round pick.

I'm partial to Rashaan Evans myself. I have some reservations about Malone's level of competition. I also like Nate Brown a lot so there's not as much of a difference to me.

Yep. 6-4 will do that.

FWIW, Malone plays in the highest classification in the state of Tennessee in the second toughest region in that class. It is the same region as Jalen Hurd, the 2014 5 star RB plays in

Hurd is the crown jewel in Jones' recruiting class in Knoxville, isn't he?

Most of the best TN players get recruited to private schools. I have the same reservations about Hurd. I watched their game against each other. It was basically them and a bunch of 5'11" 160 lb slow kids.

At least when he picks Tenn...and he will....he will have a great QB to throw him the ball

Most of the kids in that Sumner/Wilson county area DO NOT go to private schools. Its the Nashville area kids that get snatched up by them. The only big private school around where Hurd and Malone play, is Pope John Paul and they are def not getting the best players in that area. And saying those kids were playing around a bunch of 5'11 160 pounders simply isnt true. Im sure you watched the game but i coach high school football in the area and thats just not the case.
