Ok, I was exaggerating somewhat, but that doesn't change the fact that the change in competition will be massive. Marlon Brown (different area of TN, but similar comp level) struggled for 3 years to adjust.

It's a big jump for any high school player, but it's not as big for someone who's been playing 6A in GA, for example.

FTR, I still definitely want Malone, but he's not a sure fire first round pick. Very few are.

Here is the thing about Marlon Brown, he played in one of the smallest classes in the state. He really DID play against a bunch of small slow kids. Here is Tennessee we have Division 1 and 2. D1 is all the public schools and privates that do not give financial aid to athletes. There are 6 classes in D1. Malone plays in the largest, 6A.

Marlon Brown played in Division 2, where schools are allowed to give financial aid to athletes. There are only about 40 of the schools in the state compared to about 300 D1. The league Marlon Brown was in was one of the smallest anywhere, with only about 8 schools in the entire classification. It was NOT the private school division that includes Ensworth, Brentwood Academy or MBA who are elite schools in the country.

Jacob Park and Josh Malone have signed financial aid agreements with UGA. Malone has also signed them with UT and possibly FSU and Clemson.

For those of you who look at the 247 crystal ball thing, they now allow prospects to predict other prospects. It's going to be just one gigantic troll

Need to get Bobo down south and talk to my boy Dedriick Mills. Only a Soph, but Spurrier just gave him his first offer. He will be a stud.

Rashaan Evans says all 4 teams on his list are dead even, right now. (UGA, Auburn, UCLA, & Bama) He may trim the list down before deciding at the Under Armor AllStar game

That would be a huge step in separating us from the pack.

Stratford (SC) got a HUGE night from Park last night in their upset of South Florence to advance to the Semi-Finals of the top Classification in the State (by the way they will face South Pointe who upset and snapped Goose Creek's 38 game winning streak):

From Post and Courier:

"Park also had a big say in the Knights’ victory. The Georgia commitment was 12-of-18 for 231 yards with two touchdowns and also rushed for 88 yards".

UGA will make potentially their last big push for Josh Malone tomorrow. A group of coaches is heading up for an in-home visit tomorrow night

Mason getting a chance to show out early might be more beneficial to us than we originally might have thought when it comes to Malone.

Dedrick Mills

I saw we offered this guy today, and he's a '16 class guy.

he's a beast. Only a sophomore. Should get a chance to see what he's made of this week as Ware will travel to Tucker to play. I look for his stock to really rise next year.

Hopefully Bobo will work his South GA magic.

and Ware County is God's Country, and will frick your mouth in football.
