This team will be a shell of the current one next year. Davis, Williams, and Hogg are all probably gone.

Wendell Mitchell from Trinity Valley commits, #2 rated JUCO player in the country. Averaged 25.6 PPG at Rockdale High and 19.8 PPG, 6.5 APG and 49% shooting from the field at TV.

i think davis comes back and the JUCO we just picked up is a legit shooter. If we run with tyler as the only big on the floor our ceiling is pretty high, but if BK tries to replace williams with Nebo in the starting lineup then we probably are just a shell of this past year.

I will be surprised if Davis leaves. He has a pretty hard ceiling as a pro.

I just don't see where we have the depth at 1-3 to play small ball. And Nebo almost certainly will be one of our best 5 players, so I'm skeptical that Kennedy keeps on the bench for 25 minutes

the commit today helps but i think the 4 is where we lack depth for small ball. Nebo is going to be good but i just dont see our offense being versatile enough with him on the floor with davis.

i think the 4 is where we lack depth for small ball.
And the JUCO guy would fit as 3rd guard in a small ball lineup. But then the 2nd set of guards is somewhere between meh and awful.
I like the approach in the abstract but when I look at the roster, I don't see the athleticism or shooting required to make it work at a high level.

Flagg will not stretch the court. We don't have the lineup to go small and stretch people out imo

I can't imagine many teams would be scared of 30 minutes of Flagg at the 4.
I'm big on 'if the numbers are obviously telling you something, you should do it', so I'm totally behind the small ball strategy. But I think you have to have the right pieces and we don't have nearly enough shooters.
Plus Kennedy historically has bad 3pt shooting teams. Why would anyone want to build a strategy around something the head coach struggles with.

i agree but when it comes down to scheming, i just think we'd be alot harder to defend with chandler or mitchell out there instead of nebo. Im still at a loss as to how more coaches didnt see what will wade did to us this year and not try to replicate it.
